Dean carried his little brother from his car into his new daycare. When they were at the gate Dean spotted his boyfriend and his younger brother.

"Cas," Dean called out. "GABE," Sam screeched. Dean winced and looked at Sam, "was that absolutely necessary?" "Yes," Sam replied grinning and swinging his legs.

Dean walked into the main office to drop off Sam. He looked around for the person in charge, but didn't see anyone so he rang the bell on the front desk.

He heard her before he saw her, knocking things over and setting them back up, making her way to the front. "Hi, I'm Mrs. Smith, you must be Sam," she said, tickling his stomach.

Sam giggled, "hehaha." "Do you guys want to go play out back?" Mrs. Smith asked Sam and Gabe, both of the five year olds nodded and jumped from their older brothers arms. "C'mon Samwich," Gabe said, grabbing Sam's hand, pulling him through the back door.

Dean finished up the paperwork with Mrs. Smith and went to tell Sam goodbye. "Bye Sam," he called walking towards him. "I have to go to work now." "Ok Dean, g'bye" he said standing up to give his big brother a hug. Dean picked Sam up to hug him "Ohhhh," Dean groaned, "you give good hugs, he told Sam. Sam giggled when Dean set him back down. "Ok, bye Sam."

Dean walked back inside to meet Cas. "You ready to go?" He asked. "Sure let's go before Ellen gets mad.

Sam heard Dean's car driving away. "G'bye Dean," he whispered where only he and Gabe could hear.

Gabe pulled Dam around introducing his shy friend to all of his friends, when he had met everyone Gabe asked what he wanted to do. "Can we just play?" Sam asked quietly not wanting the other kids to hear him. "Yea sure," Gabe answered not noticing when Sam sighed in relief at the thought of having to play with someone he didn't know.

A few hours later Dean and Cas went to the daycare to check on their younger brothers during their lunch break. Sam and Gabe heard Dean's baby and stood up wiping dirt from the sandbox off their pants. Sam finished first and waited for Gabe before he grabbed his hand and ran through the back door to find his brother.

Mrs. Smith was in the kitchen placing cookies and juice pouches on a tray for for a snack when the older boys walked through the front door.

"Hi boys, would you like to join your brothers for some cookies and juice?" Mrs. Smith asked the two. "We'd love to, we have a while before we have to go back to work anyways." Cas answered for the both of them.

"Great you four can sit here and I'll get everyone else.

"So how was your first day Sam?" Dean asked picking up a cookie.

"It was 'o much 'un," Gabe answered for him through a mouthful of cookies. Dean smiled at Gabe, "Why thank you SAM," he said putting extra emphasis on his brother's name. How was YOUR first day," he said looking directly at Sam, while he put his hand in front of Gabe's mouth.

"It was a 'ot of 'un," Sam answered, with half of a cookie in his mouth, the other half in his grubby little hand. "Good, I'm glad you liked it, would you be ok with coming here with Gabe on the days I have to work. Sam stared at Dean with wide eyes, "Can I?" he asked, on the verge of jumping up and down in excitement.

"Of course you can," Dean answered with a chuckle.

Dean and Cas stay for the rest of their break visit with their younger brothers. When it's time for the duo to leave Sam starts to tear up, "I-I-I don't want you 'o 'eave," Sam cried through a long series of cries. "Hey, hey, hey, you'll be fine, ok? Remember, you said you wanted to stay here for a while. And you can keep playing with Gabe." "Yea Sam, you get to play with me," Gabe says, taking a blow pop out of his pocket, and another out for Sam. "Grape or cherry?" Sam wiped his eyes and jumps out of Dean's arms. "Grape..." he muttered loud enough for only Gabriel to hear. Gabe rips the wrapping off with an expert hand, having torn dozens off in the last month alone, and handed the purple sucker to Sam. "See Sam, you'll have fun, and if anyone gives you a hard time," Dean says leaning down to whisper in Sam's ear, "lemme know and i'll kick their ass." Sam giggles at his brother's way of cheering him up, "ok," he whispers back, and allows Gabe to drag him back to the playground, all while waving goodbye to Dean. " 'Bye Sam," Dean mutters to himself waving at the back of his brother's head.

"C'mon babe, we have to get back to work." Dean jolts out of his trance at the touch of his boyfriend's hand slipping into his own. They walk hand in hand to Dean's black 4 door, hard top, 1967 Chevrolet Impala. "He'll be here when we get off," Cas says, attempting to comfort Dean. "Yea, you're right, he's with Gabe, he'll be fine." "Whoa whoa whoa, I never said that just because he's with Gabe meant that he'd be fine," Dean smiles at Cas's joke, "well you're still right." "Of course I am, I'm always right."

Gabe and Sam went back to playing in the sandbox to find some of Gabe's other friends already there. "Hey guys, you remember Sam," he said plopping right down in the sand. "Sam-come sit down." Sam shook his head slightly, "No thank you..." he muttered through his grape sucker. "What's wrong Moosey?" Gabe asked standing up. "I 'on't wanna play wi' them, I on'y want to play wi' you." Sam's speech was barely recognizable to anyone but Gabe, who had a year of experience when it came to talking with a sucker in his mouth. "Aw, Samwich, ok, we can just play with each other." "Ok Gabe," Sam said, a clear look of relief filling his face, and this time, Gabe noticed.

Sam and Gabriel walk over to a park bench and sit down, where Sam lets Gabe talk his ear off for the rest of recess. Sam only has to nod occasionally when he listens to Gabe talk, other than that he usually can just have time to think. This time he thought about how much he liked being friends with Gabe, "maybe i love him," Sam thought to himself, "like the way Dean loves me, and Dean loves Cas, and Cas loves Gabe, maybe I love Dean, and Cas, and Gabe.

"Did you hear me Sam?" Gabe asked pulling Sam off of his thought process. "Yea, I heard you," Sam replied nodding even though he had no idea what Gabe was talking about.

Mrs. Smith called everyone in an hour later, "Time to come inside everybody, your parents should be here soon."

Sam ran screaming to the building, "Deeeaaannn." Mrs. Smith helped Sam put his jacket on. "He's not here yet, but he shouldn't be much longer, you can wait right here on this bench and watch for him." "Ok," Sam said, hopping up on the bench swinging his legs. Dean pulled up in front of the daycare and shut of his baby, him and Cas jumped out and walked up to the gate, opening it to get to their brother's, by the time they reached thr front porch Sam was actually jumping up and down in excitement to see Dean. "Hey baby brother," Dean said when Gabe jumped into his arms. "I'm not a baby," Sam says pouting. "Of course you aren't Sam," Dean says reassuring Sam of his non-babyness.

"So, are you ready to go home?" Dean asks, "Yes!" Sam answers. They walk back to the impala where Cas and Gabe are waiting.
