March 14th, 2008
A year later and I was in high school in my second year 16. I was in class not paying attention to the professor. I didn't see Takemichi today so I got a little worried. "Y/N!!! Pay attention," The professor yelled. "I am," I said shifting my eyes to him. "Then solve the question," He said giving me the chalk. I went up and solved the question it was easy but at the same time, it was hard. "I guess you're correct," He said fixing his glasses. I sat back down and went back to thinking which was interrupted by the bell declaring it was lunchtime. I got my backpack and went outside. I walked home and saw my mom with flowers in her hand. "Aren't you supposed to be at school?" My mom asked. "I don't feel well," I said going upstairs. "G- ok," She said. I went to my room and changed into something comfortable. I went back into 'Lala land'. Rudely interrupted by knocking on my window more like banging on it 50 times. I walked over to it and saw Michi. I opened the window and let him in. He jumped on top of me which hurt so bad. "Get off of me," I said pushing him off. "Sorry but HAPPY WHITE DAY!!" He said. "Shut up my mom is home," I said closing the window. "Why are you so mad?" He asked. "I don't feel good," I said. "I got you something and get ready I wanna take you somewhere," He said. I went back into my regular clothes. "Bye Ms. L/n," Michi said with a smile. "Bye kids," She said waving. "Fucking delinquent," She whispered. We made our way to a park which I remember.
{Flashback}
3rd POV
Y/n was walking back home from school with a boy from school walking past a park when she heard meows. She saw three boys terrorizing a kitten. "L/n," "I'll go chew 'em out!" She said angrily. "It's no use you'll get hurt," The boy said. "L/n?!" The boy called out once more. She walked up to the three boys. "Stop it!! What's so fun hurting animals!?" She yelled. "Ah?" The boys said out of confusion. "I freaking hate kids with a strong sense of justice," The boy with freckles said. "Hey!! You let the cat get away!" the kid complained. "Then you take the cat's place," The kid missing a tooth said. Y/n started to tear up when the boys made comments. "Aww, you gonna cry," The boy teased "Think that's gonna make us go easy on you?" The other said. "Ah jeez I tried to stop her," The boy said looking at the scene behind a wall. Another boy came with a cape on and ran towards them. He charged at the freckled kid kicking him in his stomach. The kid flew back while the 'hero' was on the floor but quickly got up. Y/n turned around and saw him standing tall. "THE HERO HAS ARRIVED!!" He yelled. He had black hair and blue eyes. "Middle schoolers ganging up on alone girl?! Not on my watch!!" he yelled. "What's your problem," "What the hell!! Do you think you're a hero? For real?" "He's even got a freakin' cape," "Oh, What's this? This little dork's shakin' like a leaf!" "If you're scared then don't act like you're hot shit," The kid yelled once more. "Shut up," the hero said throwing a punch. The three kids left while Y/n and the 'hero' cried. "What're you crying for!?" He asked out of anger. "Because," Y/n said hiccuping and wiping her eyes with her fists. "You're weak!! If you'd just think ahead, then stuff like this wouldn't happen!!" He yelled at her. 'I'm sorry," She managed to say. "See ya!" he said running off. "WAIT!!" Y/n yelled. "What!?" He said. "Thank you can I please get you something in return?" She asked. "Sure," He said with a smile slowly getting rid of his anger. The two kids realized they were from the same school where she fell on him on her first day. That's when they became best friends.
Present
Y/n and Takemichi sat on the swings. "Thank you," Y/n spoke up. "For what," "Back in 5th grade when you stood up for me then yelled at me," She said once again. Takemichi got up and headed to the sandbox and grabbed something inside a box. Y/n started tearing up at the sudden thoughts running through her head. "I want to make you happy more than anyone else. PLEASE MARRY ME!!" He said holding both of Y/n's shoulders. Y/n was shocked at his words tears still running down her face. "I'll be on your side to comfort you if you're ever feeling down Y/n!!" "So don't cry," He spoke up once more shaking her. "Let's get married in 9 years," He said. Y/n hugged him and kissed his cheek. As they collapsed on the floor of the playground they hugged together. "Oi Y/n mom wants you home already," Miki said.
