"It's been so long since the last time we were here." Sora muttered in between bites of his cotton candy, his hands scattered with the sticky remains of the sweet delicacy.

"It's only been a year." Jaxx looked through his small backpack, a wet wipe in hand after a few seconds.

Sora replied with a quick "Long enough!" before walking over to a nearby trash can and throwing away his plastic cone.

He walked back over to Jaxx, extending his hands out to him once close enough.

"You're like a little kid." Jaxx grumbled, the loving look in his eyes overtaking the annoyed tone in his words.

Sora stuck his tongue out playfully at the other. "Yea well you'll be taking care of this 'little kid' for the rest of your life." He muttered before extracting his hands.

The red head stared in silence for a few seconds as his cheeks burned up. He shook it off quickly, asking a flirty "Hm? You've been reading my mind?"

"What's that supposed to mean?" Sora asked, an eyebrow raised as his playful demeanor vanished.

"Nothing. Come on I have something to show you."

He grabbed Sora by the hand as he led him away from the concession stands.

They walked for a bit before Sora spoke, "So, where are we headed?"

"You'll see." Jaxx replied with a smile as he continued walking.

The two walked on, the crowd of people around them decreasing as the moon rose up.

"I'm getting some serious deja vu from this..." Sora grumbled as he looked around them.

Just like a year ago, they were walking towards an isolated flower field. With no colorful buildings or happy families in sight, it was pretty quiet.

Their steps continued to grow louder before the red head stopped abruptly. He looked at his surroundings before glancing back at Sora.

"We're here."

They were standing at the same spot as last year. Where Jaxx had given Sora the promise ring. Where he'd promised to marry Sora someday.

"It's been a while since we were here!" Sora exclaimed with a big grin on his face, the memories of that night coming back to him.

He turned back to Jaxx, the two standing in silence as the moon bathed them in its glow.

"Sora." Jaxx spoke, his eyes glittering unlike the last time the two had stood there. A goofy grin adorned his face, he wasn't gonna let the nervousness get to him this time.

"What's up?" The shorter asked. It wasn't that visible, but this time, Sora was the nervous one.

"I have a question for you~"

"...Go ahead." Sora muttered as he locked eyes with his boyfriend.

"So, we've been dating for a couple of years..." He began, his voice growing softer. "And you mean the world to me."

"I know we might've started as enemies, but I'm glad we were able to end as lovers. I'm sorry for being such a jerk back then, but you know it was hard for us to show how we really felt. I love you to the moon and back, I really do think I won the cosmic lottery..."

Jaxx grew quiet for a minute, his eyes still locked on Sora's, as he reached into his vest's pocket and knelt down.

"Sora, will you marry me?" He asked softly as he stared up at Sora's moonlit face.

"You're really stupid for saying a space pun while asking me to marry you..." Sora muttered, his brows furrowing as he tried to hold back his tears.

"Is that a yes?" Jaxx asked, his heartbeat growing faster with every passing second.

"Of course it is." Sora whispered as he wiped away his tears quickly.

The red head stood back up, quickly snatching up a red-seeded dandelion before embracing the other lovingly with a spin.

"Baby, why are you wiping your tears away?" He asked softly as he began to rub Sora's back.

"Cause it's embarrassing..." Sora replied in muffles, his head leaning on Jaxx's chest.

"Sora... I've seen you cry multiple times before." Jaxx chuckled as he moved his hand up to Sora's hair, silently tucking the flower behind his ear.

"Yea.. but that's sad crying."

"Exactly, I want to see you cry all the time if it's from happiness." Jaxx joked as he ruffled the shorter's cyan hair gently.

"Yea?"

"Yea." Jaxx replied while lifting Sora's head up.

"I love you to the moon and back too."
