Just great

The past few weeks have been weird

My dad has made more friends then I ever have not that I had any but besides it's still weird

He's made friends with almost every neighbor on our street and today? We're hosting a big get together dinner.

See the thing is I hate most people it's not them it's just I have being in a crowd

I told my dad I didn't want to do anything and I would just stay in my room the whole night

But of course my dad being my dad, he insisted that I come and hang out with the neighbors kids

He said there will be some around my age and that it would be a good opportunity to meet some friends

So what am I doing in the corner of my living room? Well you see most of my neighbors are kids and I love kids so what did I do exactly?

Me being me I started playing with the kids letting them run around in my backyard and chasing them

I ran into someone chest and who might that be?

Did I know he was my neighbor? Nope did I know his little brother was the one I was mostly playing with? Also no did I also embarrass myself by falling on my ass right after? Yes

" Jesus you're built like a rock" I say getting up and lifting my shorts up a little to see the damage done to my ass.

And of course I had to fall on the only sliver of my backyard that has concrete

" damn" he says looking down at my scraped and now bleeding ass, wait why is he looking at my ass

I look back up at him still gazing down before he grabs my hand and pulls me inside

" what are you doing" I say looking back outside to see if anyone saw us come inside

" relax you need to put a bandage on it" he says pulling a little box out under my sink how did he know it was there?

" the other night when I was here one of the guys bumped into the counter and cut themselves with the knife sitting at the end" Ah shit I forgot to do the dishes after that

" your dad helped him bad I saw him pull it out of there" he says

" oh okay I was confused I thought you a robber or something" I joke

" over a first aid kit?" Ha great one Delani

"Do you want to put it on yourself or do you want me to?" He questions

I can reach it very well and I don't think I can put on a bandage backward

" can you do it? If you don't mind" I stutter out

"Okay" he says before bending down and getting on his knees lifting my shorts up a little before I feel his cold hands place it on me before sliding his hand down my thigh sending bolts of heat to me

" all done" he says getting back and walking to to the door as I just stand there

" are you coming?" He asks pulling the door open

" oh yeah yeah" I say walking over to the door as he lets me go out first
