Cheong-san and Gwi-nam meeting a party in a no-zombie au.

I didn't even want to come to this stupid party. Su-hyeok said it'd help me get over On-jo, as if a crush that I'd had since I was six would magically go away.

I was holding a red solo cup which held some diet coke, because I didn't drink, even if I was of age to do so.

I had seen at least 3 couples kiss tonight, and hookups were happening left and right. It made me hug my arms close and keep my eyes on the floor.

A tap on my shoulder made me look straight into the large brown eyes of the person I was here to get over.

"Excuse me. You're blocking the way, Cheong-san." On-jo was here too, it seemed. Great.

"Sorry, On-jo. My bad." I moved out of her way, looking at her as she passed. She seemed happy as ever. Her lips, tinted a soft pink from the lipstick she wore, were tilted upwards in a smile as she ran to some boy and hugged him.

"I'm sorry, Cheong-san. I didn't know that she would be here." Su-hyeok is at my side. I put on a fake smile for him.

"It's fine. Her date will help me realize that it won't happen." I walk away before he can say anything else.

I run into a girl. She's wearing a revealing dress in a shade of pink that makes me want to claw my own eye out (A/N: See what I did there?) She stands with her arms crossed.

"Aren't you going to apologize, freak?" She sneers.

"I'm really sorry, I didn't mean to bump into you." I apologized quickly.

"Do you know who I am? Na-yeon. Lee Na-yeon. I will ruin your life, rat." She smiles cruelly and she spills her red drink all over my shirt. She snickers as I stand there, frozen by her act of cruelty.

"Get lost. I don't even know why Su-hyeok thought he should bring his friend here." She looks down her nose at me as I retreat outside.

I sit on the back steps. Breathe in the cool night air and look at the sky.

I close my eyes and exhale. What was I thinking? This isn't a place for me. Su-hyeok can get over girlfriends by finding a new one at a party..but me?

That will never happen..No one would want to.

I inspect the red splotch that now spreads across my chest. I can't get this stain out and it's not even my shirt.

I huff at the thought of Su-hyeok being annoying about it when that girl with the god complex is the reason for it.

I look behind me as the door opens and someone steps out.

He's wearing a leather jacket and a band t-shirt for a group I liked. He's sporting a mullet and a permanently annoyed pinch of his brows. In short, he looks like trouble..with a side of too-hot-for-me.

He notices me. "Hey. Mind if I sit next to you?" His voice is deep and rough.

"Um..no." I scoot over to make room for him.

"What's your name, kid?" He asks.

"Lee Cheong-san. You?" I don't want to look at him.

"Yoon Gwi-nam." I recognize the name from somewhere.

We're silent for a while as he closes his eyes, wincing like his head hurts.

"The party got the best of you? Or, actually..did Na-yeon?" He asks after a while. His words are a little slurred. He's probably a bit tipsy.

"I guess you could say that. What about you? You look ready for a few more shots." I pointedly remark.

"Why're you out here alone?" He asks, ignoring my jab at him.
