Deku's POV

"Is (Y/N) home from training yet?"

My mom and I had been home for a while, and we decided to wait on my sister for dinner, like we do every week. But this time, she had taken longer than usual.

I was helping my mom prep dinner, and I felt the aura of worry coming from her. My mom never usually likes it when I worry, but she makes it so hard for me not to. Especially with her keeping my secret.

I turned to her, as she gave me the frown face. "No, honey. She is probably still out training-"

      "I'm Home!!!!"

     Well, there goes our worries.

My mother ran to my sister, who had just shut the door behind her. I smiled from the kitchen counter, which wasn't that far of a distance.

She looked up at me, and mouthed 'I'm sorry' to me, while I gave a forgiving smile.

"Where were you? It's so late! You never come home right before supper!"

She smiled at Mom, calming down and relaxing our only parent. "Mom, I am O-kay. Nothing happened, I wanted to catch up on training and get some extra time in."

I came into the room, hugging both my sister and mother. "Come on guys, let's eat."

"Thanks for dinner mom, I'll be in my room." My sister kissed my mother on the forehead, followed by my mom giving my sister a small smile.

After my sister had exited the room, my mom turned her attention over to me. "No daily run today for her? Did something happen at school?"

I shook my head. I mean, nothing seemed off about her at school. Maybe she was still shaken up from the attack?

I overheard some of my classmates talking about her going out in the open for the villains to see her, which I will admit; I wasn't the most happiest about.

She's always been the stubborn type. She has a strong head on her shoulders, but for her to throw herself in danger just like that? God only knows what could have happened to her.

Maybe...I should check on her? Yeah! That's what I'll do!

________

Y/N's POV

God, sometimes I wish that damn Bakugo would just use his head sometimes. He thinks that I'll just forget the things he said? And yet, I still agreed to be his stupid training partner-

      "Y/N!"

I jump out of my bed, turning to Izuku, who for damn sure startled my ass. "I-Izuku! Jesus you scared me!" He sits besides me on the bed, as I sit back down.

"Sorry to startle you!" He rubs the back of his neck. " I just wanted to check on you, see how you're feeling. I heard you went out there when the villains attacked. That wasn't very smart, and you had me worried sick."

Damnit. "Izuku, I'm sorry. I just.." Come on Y/N, come up with something... "I just wanted to help."

He places his hand on my shoulder, consulting me. "You should have left it to the pros. We're not ready yet. Even though I will admit, I probably would have done the same thing."

"But please, for me; just be careful. I don't want to see you get hurt. You're my only sister. My only sibling, for a matter of fact. I know we aren't related...but I still care about you. We don't need to be the same blood type for me to consider you my sister."

God I am so lucky. Izuku isn't perfect, but he cares. He puts a lot of effort to make time for me and spend time with me. He's the best brother I could have ever asked for.

But...I don't know....a part of me feels like he's hiding something. Big.

    "Y/N?"

I snap back into reality. "Yes! yes!" I take a deep breath, looking up at him. "Thank you. I'll be sure to be smarter next time."

He smiles at me. "Thank you. Well, I'll let you get some rest." He walks out of the room.

_______

Third person POV

The bells have rung, as the students of Class 1-A make their way out of the classroom.

But emotions ran high through Y/N Midoriya. She felt confused and curious, with everything that has transpired in the past few days.

She looked up, watching her brother from the distance with their fellow classmates; Conti plated with her thoughts. What if he possibly is hiding something? How big is it?

She knew things have been different since they're time at UA. He seems more secretive, closed in. Like something he is hiding could effect everything-

  "Oi."

She jumps, dropping her books. She leans down to grab her books, and turns to the ashy blonde. "Oh. It's you."

He scoffs. "You got a fucking problem?"

"I never said I did, Bakubitch."

He scoffs once more, walking past her. "Are you coming or not pebble?"

She stood, watching him. Confused. Is this his way of asking her to hang out with him? Possibly. "Uh yeah, sure."
