Chapter 2

After rehearsing for their live stage later that day, Sunoo decided to take a break. He went to the dressing room to rest for a bit because he was kinda feeling sick.

Jungwon went in moments later, only to find out a passed out Sunoo on the couch, snoring. Jungwon placed the back of his hand on his forehead, feeling how warm he is.

"Sunoo, wake up. Do you want some snack?" Jungwon asked as he sit beside him.

Sunoo groans as he shake his head. Niki also entered the dressing room with bags of chips in hand. He looks at Jungwon, trying to telepathically communicate with Jungwon.

"Sunoo hyung, are you okay?" Niki asked, placing down the bags of chips on the table.

The three of them stayed their for a bit, snacking and letting Sunoo get all the rest he needs before their live stage.

After an hour, their manager called them and told them to prepare for their stage.

"Hyung, Sunoo feels sick. Should we just use the pre-recorded tape?" Jungwon asked. He was then grabbed by Sunoo, sitting up as he stretches his arms.

"No, I feel good now. Let's go." Sunoo said with a smile, face flush red as he fix his earpiece.

The two looked at each other before standing up as well. They stayed behind Sunoo, in case he suddenly collapse. But luckily, he did not and they performed the song with no worries.

After their performance, the fatigue in Sunoo is too obvious that he was taken to the company building an hour earlier than Jungwon and Niki.

While resting and being taken care of by the nurse, Sunoo turns on his phone to watch their performance in replay. He thinks that he did good, but being sick doesn't make it better since he can see how he breathes heavily.

"Kim Sunoo? Someone's here to check on you." The nurse said before going out.

Then three guys entered with fruits and sandwiches in hand. All HYPE members, except Sunghoon went to visit him.

"You okay? You were fine earlier this morning. What happened?" Jay asked as he placed the sandwiches on the side table.

"Yeah. You were breathing madly on the stage. But don't worry, you did well nonetheless." Heeseung praised him.

Sunoo gives his seniors shy smile to their concern. But Sunoo is wondering why only 3 of them went to check on him.

"Where's Sunghoon hyung?" He asked as he peel open an orange.

The three dudes look at each other before Jake cleared his throat. Assuring Sunoo that Sunghoon just went to get some stuff.

A few moments later, Sunghoon enters the clinic with a plastic bag full of mint choco ice cream. Even though he and the others doesn't like the flavor, he is still willing to go and buy it for him.

Sunoo smiles upon seeing the older guy. Jake and the others step aside to give way for Sunghoon. The taller lad places the back of his hand on Sunoo's forehead, checking his temperature.

"Are you okay now? Here, I bought some ice cream." Sunghoon said as he hands over the plastic bag.

Sunoo mumbles a small thank you as he takes the lid off. Heeseung pulls the other two with him secretly, leaving the two to have some alone time.

"Are you still going to attend later?"

"Yeah. I think I can perform well later." Sunoo reassures as he starts digging in.

Sunghoon hums in response, staring at Sunoo who keeps eating. The lad then scrunches his nose after finding it weird that Sunoo likes the flavor.

"You like mint choco? It taste like toothpaste to me." Sunghoon teased, covering his nose.

Sunoo looks at him before making a face, mocking Sunghoon's face.

"It's not you who consumes this. I don't take your mint choco slander."
