The nightmares endued by Slade had stopped, replaced with the spin rattling memories. They normally start off great, when Slick and I are sleeping, the small kiss we shared, but it changes. My imagination fills my sleep with reckless memories of what happened before I meet the the Justice League and everyone else.

"Hey, Rose." Someone called while I walked down the hall. I wasn't paying attention, so I didn't catch whom it was.

"Bye?" I called over my shoulder and kept walking. I was heading to the training room where I could beat up some punching bags.

I tapped my fists up and set up a bag. I took a classic stance, feet shoulder-length apart and my fists up nice and high. The sound of the bag meeting my knuckles drowned out anything else. It was early in the morning, I didn't expect anyone to be up, but I thought I heard someone call my name. I whipped the sweat off my forehead and turned around.

"Huh?"

"Hey, you're up early." Kaldur said.

"Yeah well, not tired." I returned to punching the bag. I punched that bag like it was him.

~.~ Cole ~.~

It's been a month, and nothing. Hacking databases and nothing. Cole sighed as he flopped in bed, weary eyes threatening to close. A long day of working and a night of searching and nothing. The whole business was down right tiring.

"I'll find you." Cole whispered before falling to sleep.

~.~ Tom ~.~

Two things were on Tom's mind. His name, and a girl's face. When he woke a month ago that's all he remembered, his name and a girl's face. Soft brown hair that almost looked to have rusty hair, caramel colored eyes that looked stern. He didn't know her name or how they were connected, but he held on to the image.

"What am I doing?" Tom asked himself as he walked down the dimly lit road. He woke with only twenty dollars in his pocket. Tom spent five dollars on a cheap backpack and another ten of cans of beans and soup. The clothes he wore were dirty and covered in sweat. An older lady gave him another ten dollars out of pity most likely.

"Might as well get myself some new clothes." The marks place was just opening up, it must've been close to six in the morning then. He walked the paths until he came upon a small tent with jackets, t-shirts, and many kinda of leg wear. A nice dark blue jean jacket and new jeans will do. The clothes were cheap with left Tom with three dollars left over. The day came and went, and the dusk of night shadowed over the city. Tom found nice pairings of bushes good hiding. He crawled in and curled up into a ball for some rest. Dreams were then to follow.

"Slick?! Slick!" Someone was calling after me. But I couldn't turn around, my feet were still planted on the ground. I stared into familiar caramel eyes, but these were different. Stern.

"Take care of her." The young adult turned and bolted.

~.~ Rose ~.~

The grease from working washed down into the drain. The new touch-ups on my motorcycle was finished.

"Now adjust my suit." I sighed as I dried my hands. The new stretchy material would make much better than the leftovers of other suits that made my old one. "But tomorrow." I flopped onto my bed still in my day clothes. "I will find you."
