Before rengoku got to your place, your crow left to go and the others about your death.
The first person to hear about was iguro obanis.
You two were decently close, he would sometimes come to you so you could tell him about Mitsuri. Other times he would invite you to come have dinner or breakfast with him and Mitsuri. Other than Mitsuri, his snake like you,he felt comfortable around you and would sometimes get off of obanis neck to slither his way towards you.
Obani looked up to you, thought of you as an older sister. He enjoyed your company alot. He thought you had a very calming voice. And a calming presence. To him your voice reminded him of an owl. Strange yes, but some owls have a nice and claiming howl to them. Your personality he would describe it as a puppy. He said you have this curiosity to you like a puppy, you were very friendly with people you met. You were very fasinated with the world and when you were excited about something you were restless and would be overfilled with joy like how a puppy acts when they are happy.
As soon as obani heard about your death he couldn't believe it, he thought it was some prank you were playing since you and rengoku would always play pranks on him and the other hashiras, heck even sometimes on the master.
Obanis eyes shot open, his heart started racing really fast and felt has if his heart was going to jump out of his chest.
His eyes started to tear up and he was shaking. Even though he did have sort of sisters you were different to him. Sure you weren't his biological sister, to him you were. He felt he could share anything with you and can come to you whenever he needed to get things off his chest. So when he heard that you were no longer with him that you were gone it felt as if he actually lost his sibling. That he witnessed your death with his own eyes.
"T-this can't be real"
His voice started to shake
"FUCK!, Y/N PLEASE! PLEASE TELL ME THIS IS A PRANK!. PLEASE!"
Obani started to freak out, and fell to his knees . It was very unusual and not normal for him to just bawl out and be vulnerable like this. But he couldn't help it.
"Fuck...y/n...why did it have to be you"
"I-i told them...I told them not to you go alone to that mission..even though y-you are strong and we all know you can handle it..but...Fuck y/n you should no not to ever, ever face muzan alone"
More tears started to fall down his face. And his snake was also crying.
"Fuck, I'm sorry y/n...I s-should have gone with you,I shouldn't have let you go alone"
Obani started to blame himself. Saying that he should have been there with you, that he shouldn't have let you go alone on that mission.
"I'm sorry y/n...i-it should have been me, you had so much to love for and your life was actually valuable then mine..you deserve to live..not me"
He was right, you had a whole life a head of you, unlike him you still had your parents, you family with you. Obani didn't have anyone left, I guess you could say the rest of the hashiras, but to him you were the only one he considered a family.
"Heh, i mean you still you had your parents, I don't have anyone, you were really the only one I had close enough to a family member..I doubt many people would miss me or mourn over me besides Mitsuri..."
Obani started to laugh, found it funny and stupid, how someone who had nothing to live for gets to live and someone who had their whole life ahead of themselves had to die.
Obani wiped away his tears and brought himself together. His breathing was slowing down a bit and he sort of managed to get his shaking under control.
"Man.. rengoku is going to be so heart broken, he was going to propose to you tomorrow"
*Sigh*
"Don't worry..y/n..we are all going to kill muzan kibutsuji, even if we die in the process, it will be worth it..heh and we will all be together again, we might get to see each other again....in an other life. Farewell y/n rest easy, after all you deserve the rest. This wasn't really what I thought of you resting, but at least you get to rest in peace and you get bothered by anyone or anything... goodbye...y/n...you were an angel"
