I was sitting in my room reading when I felt someone wrap their arms around me and kiss my forehead I looked up and saw Elijah smiling at me "hey love" I said kissing his cheek "hey beautiful I have a surprise for you" he said resting his chin on my head "what would that be love" I asked laying my head on his shoulder "I got us a house where we can raise our child without Nik interfering" I looked up at him in disbelief "are you serious" I asked smiling "yes it's a little ways from the plantation we leave at the end of the month" he said smiling as well as I wrap my arms around him "thank you eli" I said burying my head in the crook of his neck "anything for you em" he said kissing the side of my head I love him so much he would do anything for me and to protect our child "we can start packing now if you want" he said considering that the end of the month is in a few days "no we'll pack in the morning we need some rest" I said laying my head on his chest as he wrapped his arms around me "je t'aime emilie" he said kissing my forehead "je t'aime elie" I said nuzzling my head in his chest falling asleep as he played with my hair
