The rhythmic sound of a mother and sons footsteps echoed the sound of their hearts. The sounds of their desperate pants and gasps for air as well as the sound of the rubble and dirt underneath their feet were all that was heard in the otherwise quiet forest.
Mother: AHHH! *she is holding her ankle and screaming in pain*
Son: mom! *he rushes towards her to see what happened to her* mom are u ok?!
Mother: my ankle broke and I don't think I can run anymore... *she said with a sad and defeated tone*
Son: n-no! I can't leave you with that thing coming to us! *he looks like he is about to burst into tears*
Mother: *she turns her head to see if that "thing" was still after them and to her horror it is* go without me and find somewhere to hide!
Son: I-I-I can't leave u mom!
Mother: go while u still have a chance!
Son: *he nods and keeps running*
This thing caught up to the mother and ate her alive and the son can hear her screams behind him and he is crying and just thinking that should've been him then he eventually made it to this abandoned house then rushed inside to hide little did he know that the "thing" saw him run inside the house
Son: *he hides in the bedroom under the bed*
??: *breaks the door down and is sniffing the air to find where the boy is hiding*
Son: *he is crying silently and he is looking at the bedroom door to see if the thing gets in*
??: *they slowly open the bedroom door and walks to the closet and checks in it to see if the boy is there*
Son: *holding his breath and trying his best not to cry loud right now*
??: *they close the closet and walk towards the bed*
Son: *he can see his feet in front of him and his heart starts to race and starts to sweat that he might get caught*
??: *they kneel down and grabs the by the throat and pulls him out of the bed* found you~
Son: *he looks at this thing in a terrified way and is starting to choke due to the lack of air*
??: I must say your mother was delicious and you will join her soon but I just want to play with my food a bit *they proceed to throw the boy out of the window*
Son: *he broke his right leg and arm then he tries to crawl away from them*
??: *walking towards the boy* still trying to run away with a broken leg and arm? How foolish of you *they grab the boy by the hair and faces the boy to them* if your wondering what am I then I will tell before u die I'm a demon with powers that you stupid humans can't get
he can't believe his ears a demon? Is that even possible? While his thoughts were running through his head he knows one thing: he is going to die Then the demon flings the boy to a tree and then the boy gets his spine broken upon impact then the boy is staring at the demon walking towards him
Son: <looks like I'm going to die here....mother I will see you in the afterlife....> *he closes his eyes and gets ready for the demon to strike*
The demon is getting ready strike suddenly a sword cuts his head off and the demon looks at the person who cut it off and realizes it's a demon slayer but not just a slayer a hashira as the demon evaporated the swordsmen sheathes his sword and walks to the boy
??: hey are you alright?
Son: *he opened his eyes and saw this person with a sword who has crimson red eyes that has a kind soul but the looks away from him and looks around to see where the demon went but they didn't see the demon so he got worried for the person with a sword* I-it's not safe here you need to run before the demon gets you!! *he tries to tell this person to run away*
??: *he chuckles and in a calm tone voice* don't worry I killed the demon so your safe but we need you to get healed up
Son: o-oh is that so? *the swordsmen nodded* well what's your name?
Daiki: my name is daiki matsuda a demon slayer
Son: t-thank you so much for saving me!
Daiki: your welcome *he smiles at the boy*
