Wake me up

Chapter four, wake me up

I hear a noise, like a door opening.

Im use to it. I've been here for three months.

Im in a coma.

Yay.

"Baby." It's my mom. "I don't know if you're up or not." She sniffs, trying to stop herself from crying." But I love you, no matter what. I just wanna talk to you like always. It's october. Your favorite month. You've still been here for three months. All I ask is that you don't give up, keep trying. You have to keep trying princess." She grabs my hand and kisses it and then leaves, and I cry because i don't want her to leave. I want her to stay. I hate being here.

Months ago, when jay and the guy's saved me from that snake they brought me here and gave me medicine's and shots. They we're trying to keep me strong and awake. But I slipped into a coma.

Nobody's been able to wake me up.

Jay almost did once though.

But almost wasn't enough I guess.

The door opens again.

"Bestfriend!" Lauren yells and I Inwardly laugh.

She's the only one that never cries when she's talking to me. She did once. But that's it. She makes me feel like I'll be alright, telling me memories and how im such a lucky asshole for all the test that im missing.

"How you been? Or what have you been thinking about? Probably having jays babies. Yep. I know it." She laughs and I kinda do too.

"I feel like you're laughing, and awake. I just feel it. And if you're not, oh well. You gon find a way to listen to me today. There's this new girl. She's cute, I guess. But you're more beautiful. She's got blonde hair and blue eye's. Her names jessica. Yeah, she flirts with jay. They went on a date and I think they like eachother." She sighs. "I just wish he'd break up with her already so you guy's could date."

"No, I wish you'd wake up. I miss my bestfriend." And she starts crying, holding me like she's falling. Like she's been trying to stay strong for me and this Is it. All she can give.

And something in me triggers. I can't sleep my life away, I have to try! I have to try and stay strong, try and live!

There's an endless beeping sound, hurting my ears.

I grab Laurens hand and she gasps.

I smile at her and open my eye's.

She woke me up.
