My name is Cassandra White, I'm currently a resident at a cornerstone of a little vibrant town called Pine meadows..... You've asked me a difficult question so I'll try my best to answer. I live in Paris but that isn't my birth place and it didn't form the woman you see in front of you. South Africa is where I grew up and it wasn't the best place to grow up by that time but I was one of the unfortunate bunch. Even with that said I am proud of my origin even with my fair share of mistakes and regrets. You know what, let me stop yapping and tell you a story to answer your question. I was about ten years old, in grade nine. By then I was the best in class. I always put my academics first because I had ambitions of becoming an anesthesiologist but my best friend,Ayanda, was always focused on making every second of her life to matter she said and her way of thinking made me doubt my dream. She had a notorious reputation where ever she went but I liked her because whenever I'm around her, I would always get out of my shell and be myself. On the tenth of April, about four Am, I was waken by a soft deep voice calling my name outside my room's window.
"Cassie.   Cassie.   Cassie."
So frightened I pushed my blankets aside, and off from the bed to put on my fluffy yellow morning slippers. Afterwards I stood up and walked to the light switch to see the identity of the person who woke me up from my nightmare. As I approached the curtains, using my left hand to create a gap between them. I focused my eye sight through the darkness and saw a shadow figure of a man and I was frozen with shock and the moon light shines on my windows and reflected to his face. Finally I recognized the face and I rattled by enormous wave of mixed emotions and I widely opened the curtains.
"What... what are you doing here.... at this time of the night",I asked.
"Can you let me in,I'll explain everything."
"Why didn't you wake up Ma instead".
"Come on now,you know why,can we just stop arguing through the window. Just let me inside and I'll explain everything."
I said furiously with tearing eyes,"You mean you'll explain why you left us? Why you left me?"
"Please, just let me in... I know what I did was wrong... And you probably hate me but I'm here now".
I closed my curtains furiously and put on a royal blue gown to go with my pink fluffy pajamas. Afterwards I got out of my room, and from my door I headed straight and passed the three meters hallway to the dining room. When I got there,I looked around for the light switch but I accidentally hit my right foot on one of the chairs and I crumble to the floor. "Aaahh............mhhhh..........Maaaa",I yelled due to the excruciating pain I felt on my toes. I hoped up like a kitten witnessing a snake and slowly got down and massaged I agonizing toe for not long though. Afterwards I got up and scan the entire walls and so I find the light switch. So as I find the switch and approach the switch to light up the dining and kitchen rooms. With the rooms brighter,I began the search for the keys and by surprise they where at the door knob. As I'm about to unlock and open the door,an alarming sleepy voice behind me surprises me that I jump like a cat frightened on a cartoon. "What's with the noise",it was my mother who asked. I turned around and closed the gap between them to hug her very tightly yet I was shaking. "What's wrong my little Cassie",she asks. "I... I... I was. I couldn't sleep. I'm sorry that I woke you up", Cassandra replies. "It's okay just keep the noise down", she said sounding concerned. Then the long emotional hug stops and she let me go and turned around slowly exiting the dining room to head to the short hallway. I then waited for a short moment and then I slowly approached the kitchen's door and unlocks it. Immediately after it unlocks the door was opened by the familiar intruder and enters the house.
