Ash goes by she/he/they pronouns

"Who even came up with ice skating? Do you know what a terrible idea it is? It's like... strapping knives to your feet before getting on ice which you may or may not fall through."
Kenma was taking part in no dangerous sport of any kind no matter how much Kuroo begged and pleaded in front of him.
It was just another lazy Friday morning, with Kenma playing video games and Ash watching him play while listening to music. Out of nowhere, Kuroo walks into the room asking them to dress up and go ice skating with him. Since they knew each other for a while now, there was no complaints from anyone when they had to share a dorm during college.
"Who walks on an ice-covered pond anymore? Don't you know how stupid that is? You should've died in that pond. Natural selection." Kenma told him, still focused on playing his game.
Kuroo pouted before turning to Ash and asking for his help, "Help me out here. Wasn't ice skating something you wanted to do?"
She took out one earphone before talking to him. "While I do agree that I would love to ice skate, I am not that willing to sacrifice my bones." He put his earphones and proceeded to ignore Kuroo's whines.
When neither relented, he walked out of the room. The two of them silently watched him go to his room. "Should we....?" Kenma questioned her after a while.
"Nah, he's just sulking. I'm sure he'll be fine." Nevertheless, they got up and went to the kitchen. He came out after some time with a plate of pancakes in his hand. "Just in case though."
Kenma nodded in approval, and she went to talk to Kuroo.
"Kuroo," she knocked on his door, "I'm coming in so stop sulking." Opening the door, he walked inside to see Kuroo at the laptop printing something.
"It's you. Hi."
He narrowed his eyes at him when he saw the contents of the printing. "Really?"
She pointed at the paper. "Pros and Cons of Ice skating? With no cons?"
Kuroo sat on his bed with the paper inviting them to sit beside him. "Oooo and you brought pancakes." He stretches his hand to take it, but Ash moves it from his side. "Right."
He sits up straight and acts all important, sneaking glances at him to see if it made her laugh. When he saw the beginnings of a smile, he started.
"In my defense, ice-skating always looked romantic in movies."
"And what? Ice can't kill us?" he asked.
"Exactly!!" he replied grinning.
When Ash took too much time to come back, Kenma went to find them and heard the ending of Kuroo's speech.
Interrupting, he asks, "...so, humans aren't susceptible to hypothermia?" He knew Kuroo would probably reply with something dumb, but he still said it.
"...you're not human though..."
"Ash could you please, I don't know, throw something at his face."
Kenma proceeds to leave the room, but Kuroo walks to him and pulls him to sit with them. "I'm sorry Ken, but we all know that you aren't. You can spend days in front of that TV playing games with no sleep. If Ash or me wouldn't stop, you... You'd live on the couch.""He's not wrong though." She said nodding. "What is this sudden fascination for skating anyway?"
That question was all Kuroo needed to continue his great list of pros and why they both should join him on the wonderful morning. After a great deal of pleading and slight threats to both, Kuroo managed to convince them to an hour of ice skating.
"All I wanted to do was curl up on the sofa, light a roaring fire, sip on a mug of hot chocolate, and not leave my house for a week." Kenma whined for the millionth time on their way.
Kuroo glanced at him and smiled softly. Despite his complaining, Kenma enjoyed time outside with both. It would always start with complaints but by the end he'd be smiling and laughing.
"We're here." Ash's eyes sparkled at the sight of the frozen pond. Lights were strung up on the surrounding trees. Food carts were set up all around the place.
The three of them walked towards the pond, skates in hand. "If I break anything, I'm going to kill you." Ash spoke up, a smile on her face which didn't really help her threat to Kuroo.
"Well?" Kuroo held out both his hands to them after they put on the skates, "let's skate."
Pulling Ash over he makes him stand at the edge. They look over at Kenma who's smoothly skating, "He- what- since when?" She asked Kuroo in disbelief.
"Despite his complaints, he's pretty good at this."
Ash spent the rest of her time trying to skate without landing on her back. All in all, spending Christmas Eve skating was fun, even though he didn't really expect it to be.
Kuroo and Kenma had a more fun time since they were both good at skating. Laughing, they went to one of the food stalls to get hot chocolate.
"Kenma, you didn't mention that you were good at this."
"I'm good at games." He shrugged. He turned to Kuroo, "He's-He's good at games."
Kuroo laughed at their disbelief. "Ice skating isn't exactly a game.... But we know Kenma." He looks at Kenma, who was intently watching how the other skate.
"Good point."
"Okay, I said one hour of skating, and we've done that now we can do whatever you guys want." Kuroo told them after a while.
"Finally." Kenma dragged both to the bus stop, "let's go home it's freezing."
He dragged them back home. When they were finally back, he seated them on the couch. "Movie?"
"Sounds good." Kuroo answered. So, while Ash set up the TV with some good movie and Kenma got them snacks, Kuroo made himself comfortable.
"I've got the snacks."
"We're going to watch Christmas movies!!"
And that's what they did. Binged watched Christmas movies until they fell asleep.
Kuroo smiled softly at the two of them, Ash's head on his shoulder and Kenma's on hers. "Merry Christmas my loves."
