Snow is common in Japan. Naturally, when December came and there was still no snow in sight, there were quite a few sad faces.

"Snow doesn't like us anymore." Hinata whined during their conversation. "And that's why it hasn't snowed yet."

"Snow doesn't hate us boke, it's just tired of going around everywhere so decided not to come here." Kageyama retorted.

Amaya rolled her eyes as she ate cereal. The more time she spent around them, the faster she'd lose her remaining braincells. The two of them kept arguing about the snow and its tantrums. "Amaya what do you think?" Hinata turned to her questioning.

"Huh?"

"Snow. Why haven't we gotten snow yet?"

"Well maybe because the snow doesn't want to listen to the two of y'alls fights all the time." When she got no response from them, she looked up to find them staring at her, "I'm kidding, obviously."

Picking up her bowl, she walks to the kitchen. Hinata follows her and continues talking, "So, back to Mr. Snow. Is it going to come here? I've got all my coats and boots out. Do we need to keep them back? Amaya? Amaya.... Are you listening to me?"

Turning the tap off, she looked up, "Shoyo, please, stop crowding. We'll get snow, or we won't. Does it really matter?"

"See even your cousin thinks you're an idiot." Kageyama spoke as he walked into the kitchen. "She did not." Hinata retorted.

"You BOTH need to get your bickering elsewhere. Unless" she smirked at them, "that's your way of saying you love each other."

In seconds, they stopped their bickering and left, but not before Hinata pulled a face at Amaya. Chuckling to herself she got back to washing her bowl.

When she got back to the room, the two of them were surprisingly watching a movie, without arguing. She joined them on the sofa.

"Kageyama, you pick the next movie." Amaya told him.

"It's 11pm." He pointed at the clock. "We've been watching for hours now."

The arguments started again about staying up and watching more since it's the holidays or to simply go to sleep early. Surprisingly it was Kageyama who ended the argument and made sure the two of them went to sleep.

The next morning Amaya woke up to something heavy on her bed. "...... Amaya wake up wake up. It's snowing."

"Ugh. Shoyo, get off me." She turned the other way. She felt the weight lift off her bed and silence followed for a while.

After a few minutes the door creaked, and she heard voices. "Drop it on her and she'll wake up for sure."

Hearing them whisper was never a good sign and Amaya knew this for a fact. She quickly sat up on the bed, "Don't do whatever you are planning to, or I swear to God, I will bury you alive.

Just as she finished her sentence, she felt something cold hit her. "Shoyo you- " she started to scream but they were already out the door and running as far away from her as humanly possible.

That's when she looked out to notice snow falling. The place was all white, covered in snow. It had probably snowed all throughout the night. Seeing the snow on her bed she got up and walked out to find the culprits behind the snow attack.

Kageyama and Hinata were already outside, waiting for her to come there. She stood in awe of the surroundings, completely covered in snow. Little snowflakes were falling all around her. "It's so beautiful." She muttered to no one in particular.

"AMAYA THINK FAST." Hinata's voice was the only warning she got before another snowball hit her shoulder. "Shoyo!!!!!" she shrieked and turned towards them, "Kageyama why are you joining him?"

He shrugged and held up his hand in which he was holding a snowball, "Snowball fight." He slowly walked towards her when she didn't
"Don't you dare bring that snowball in the house, DON'T YOU DARE- "

"Then come outside and have a snowball fight with us." Kageyama called out.

Amaya shrugged, "I don't really feel like it..." Laughter erupts from the other side, and she notices Hinata shouting, "Well that's because you know that you'll lose..."

"I said no such thing." She replied indignantly. When they saw that she didn't want to join them they continued throwing snowballs at each other and running around.

She definitely didn't like the cold, but playing in the snow? That was fun. Finally relenting, she changed out of her night clothes and went outside.
Picking up snow she ran towards Hinata, "Payback's a bitch." She shouted before throwing it at his face.

Kageyama smirked as she joined and made a snowball of his own and started throwing it at them. Their games lasted for hours. Breakfast was forgotten, as was the fact that they had homework to catch up on before school opened. The sight of snow brought them enough happiness to temporarily forget about all that was needed to be done.

"Kageyama come look at my snowman." She called. "Mine's way better." He said after seeing hers.

"Your snowman is nothing compared to mine." Hinata said while pointing at a snowman which was somehow twice his size.

Kageyama shocked asked, "how-." but was stopped by Amaya, "we don't question things he does."

Hinata grinned at them, completely proud of what he had just built. "Let's send Daichi-san and the others some pictures."

He pulled them behind and took out the phone, "Say 'snow'."

"Kageyama, you messed up the picture." He glared at him in annoyance. "Please don't start fighting now." Amaya broke in before he could reply.

They conveniently stopped, seeing as snow was more tempting than continuing the argument. Making most of their time, they made snow angels, threw snow at each other some more and finally sank down at the doorsteps in exhaustion.

"Okay, I for one am hungry, so let's get inside and eat something." Amaya spoke up first. Nodding their head in agreement Hinata and Kageyama got up and walked inside the house.

Kageyama volunteered to make the pancakes for their breakfast while the others changed out of their wet clothes. "Mmmm it smells heavenly," Hinata said, walking in to the kitchen.
"Coffee?" he questioned.

"I made hot chocolate instead." Amaya pointed to her cup and the rest on the kitchen counter.

Hinata grinned widely, "Hot chocolate, snow and pancakes. Today is most definitely my favorite day."
