Terrible Secret: Mer-vow

Awkward kiss and a Bill Cipher.

As Mabel was being pulled into the kiss, she felt a sting of electricity whenever her and Mermando's lips connected, as she was confused at first, she enjoyed it. To Mermando, it was like enternal bliss, though he knew it could'nt last forever. The two continued kissing until Mabel's name was heard, Mabel quickly and awkwardly left the kiss and Mermando, feeing more things than once.

As days, weeks, and two months pass, they began to see each other less frequent than before. Mermando was heartbroken. Could it be her betrothal to Gideon? Or maybe the kiss? What if she did'nt love him back, but she continued the kiss, if she didn't love him, she would've stopped it quicker. He was so confused.

Then it have arrived, the day before Mabel and her brother was to return to Piedmont for the Fall.

Mermando was waiting for Mabel to come, but instead of his love, it was a triangular demon. Mermando was a bit nervous of this demon's presence. "Yello Spanish Guitar!" the peppy deamon said.

"Erm... Hola..." Mermando replied, nervously. "Um... And it's Mermando."

"I know," The triangle replied, floating closer to him. "I just like Spanish Guitar better. So hiya! The name's Bill Cipher." Mermando nodded nervously, this demon was sending chills down his spine.

"So, I heard that you had feelings for Shooting Star, which in your mind, Mabel." Bill stated, Mermando nodded slowly. "But poor thing, you seem to be a merman whie she's a human. That's against the law in merkind."

"But I cannot help it, Mr. Cipher. I love her for all eternity." Mermando said with despiration in his voice, "Senor Bill... Please... Would there be any way I can turn into a human so I can be with her?"

"Hmmm," Bill thought for a second, then he said, "Well, I could turn you human, but on some conditions..."

"What? I'll do anything!"

"For this deal, you will sacriface one tail-fin, this represents your loyalty to your kind. If there is any danger or death near to Mabel and you sacriface the other, you will be into punishment of disappearing into seafoam," Bill explained, leaving Mermando horrified at the thought but he nodded. "And when you turn human, you cannot see Mabel until you both are eighteen years old, this is for her to not remeber you, so you get a better chance of winning her heart, you will also change your name."

"Change my name to what?" Mermando asked.

"I don't know, Fernando or something, whatever. Anyways, if you agree to all of this, I will turn you human, agreed?"

"Yes, senor."

"Then hand me your necklace."

Mermando opened his clamshell necklace, it was a symbol of the Merpeople, he opened it. It revealed himself, his mother, his father, and his little brother, Finn. He then closed it and handed it to Bill, where he held it up high. "By now, you, Mermando will be human, but remember, you will not see Mabel for six years and you will face challenges such as lust and envy and wrath from another along with the possibility of death for your loved one which might follow into your death as well, do you understand?

Mermando nodded.

Bill Cipher then smashed the necklace, causing both of them to disappear into the night.

The very next day came quickly, before Mabel was leaving, she decided to say goodbye to Mermando since she couldn't yesterday because of having to pack a load of stuff to go. When she walked over there, she did'nt find anyone there, she tried calling his names a few times, but with no advail. She then gave up, tears started to form in her eyes as she looked back one last time.

She didn't see Mermando again until six years later...
