"Cole?... Cole??... COLE!!"

"No. No, come back!! Come--" Cole looked up. Wait, where was he? In a vehicle, in the wastelands and… ABOUT TO DRIVE INTO JAY!!
"Cole, look out!!!" Jay shouted in the raider jet. Jay lowered his altitude just for Cole to go over him and land without a crash.
"Huh? Sorry, Jay." Cole said.
"I know you're a ghost, but I'm still in the living world, and I'd kinda like to keep it that way." Jay sighed.

Cole looked up from a knock. Morro was on his windshield.
"Why don't you ever take a vehicle?" Cole asked.
"Dunno. Flew a plane once, didn't like it. Flying stick is pretty good, to be honest." Morro said.

"Ninja!! Time is over the essence!!" Wu shouted from Cole's screen.
"Right, the meet up we planned!" Morro said, sitting on top of Cole's vehicle.
"Morro, get down from there, you're going to fall off." Lloyd said.
"No, combine for speed, you four up there, I speed up here." Morro instructed.

"Okay, fine!" Lloyd's cycle transformed and Kai and Nya pulled up in their bikes.
"Locked!" Kai shouted.
"Loaded!" Nya added as their vehicles combined.
"And reporting for duty, sir!" Jay lowered down and latched onto the combination.
"Ready for a rush of wind?" Zane asked Morro.
"I'll hang on tight." Morro bent down a bit and braced.

"FIRE ALL ENGINES!!" Lloyd shouted.

. . .

"Master Wu, are we too late?!" Jay jumped out of his jet.
"There may, yet be time." Wu pointed to the moon.
"NINJA-GO!!" They seven of them rushed into the museum.

Two minutes later, they all walked out with red glowing lanterns.
"Mission accomplished!" Jay exclaimed.
"Good thing we got to the gift shop before it closed!" Lloyd sighed.
"Yes. A Day of the Departed celebration is incomplete without a Day of the Departed lantern.
"Oh!! This is my favourite holiday! I love all the lights!" Nya squealed.
"And the costumes." Kai pointed at the kids running around.
"And the candy!" Jay exclaimed.
"Hit me, kid!"

A boy in a pilot's costume threw a treat to Jay which the Ninja enjoyed delightfully.
"Best day of the year!" Jay exclaimed.
"Yes, enjoy the fun and festivities, but never lose sight of the true meaning of the Day of the Departed." Wu said.
"Today is about remembrance. We light lanterns to remember our ancestors, and to settle our debts." He held his lanterns up.

"Yeah, got it, got it. Lanterns, ancestors, debts, but candy too, right?" Jay asked. Morro nudged him. Jay laughed a bit.

Aman in a red suit with a rather long mustache came to greet the ninja
"The ninja. The Master Wu." He said.

"Dr. Saunders." Wu addressed him.
"Oh, please. We are all friends. You must call me by my first name, yes? Sander, yes?" Dr. Saunders twirled around.
"Dr. Sander Saunders?" Kai whispered to Nya.

"At your service." Dr. Saunders said.
"I am so pleased to be seeing you at this now. We are opening our new exhibit. Come. You see, come." He led the group.

"Cole, where's your lantern?" Morro asked.
"Oh uh…" Cole looked at his empty hand.
"I'll get one on the way out." Cole said.
"Don't forget about it. Light one for her." Morro said. Cole nodded.

"Might I be presenting the Hall of Villainy." Dr. Saunders opened two large doors. In this section, a ton of people who weren't even people. Well, some were. But there were snakes, robots, a guy in a chair, stone, skeletons and stuff.

"Cryptor."

"A plastic mannequin." Zane remarked.

"Kozu."

"Uncanny." Lloyd said.

"Chen."

"Memories." Nya sighed.
