"Haaaaa, another wonderful time with Treyni and the others at the bar. I should get some rest and be ready for the workload tomorrow," Rimuru sighed with a satisfied smile on his face. "Time to show that the Leader of the Monster isn't a pushover."

Tempest has gone through so much in the short amount of time it was founded. From the goblins being first named, to the recent defeat of Falmuth kingdoms army. So much has happened, so many monsters have joined the city, and the world he dreams of is closer than he imagined. Of course, there are bad apples that try to take advantage of his kindness. All are welcome to Tempest, all that will respect and are grateful for the city. As well as showing him that same amount of respect.

Rimuru never saw himself as an aggressive person. But when he is pushed to the limit as he had been with the kingdom of Falmuth, he'll show everyone why he is the leader of the nation of monsters. No one person, leader, or nation will destroy what he worked so hard to build. All that Rimuru wants is that the monsters get along or, at the least respect, each other. That they get along and show that same respect toward humans. It was the fault of the Falmuth kingdom's king that made him break his rule of not harming humans. One rule he hopes to not break again anytime soon.

He was grateful for being able to take some time to himself before everything went under way. If all goes as planned or turns out better than thought, he'll kill off Clayman and get Milim back. All parties and areas have been covered in their battle plans for tomorrow. Rimuru has high hoped in his people and the people of the animal kingdom. With all their forces together, taking care of Clayman's army will be handled quickly. It won't be an easy battle, but he still plans to make an example of him. No one attacks his home and makes an enemy out of him. It's not often that he gets to act out in cold blood.

"I don't like having my temper talk for me. That's not the type of ruler I want to be seen as, yet that fool Clayman brought it on himself and tried to bite off more than he can chew," Rimuru couldn't help chuckling to himself. "I almost feel bad for him, I still want to keep up my friendly face. I'll leave the threats to my loyal subordinate and have them take care of trouble when I can't."

He smiled to himself happily as he started making his way back home. With a free day in his schedule, he went to Treyni's bar for some rest and relaxation. Big things are coming, why not take a breather to mentally prepare himself? All hands on deck are needed with his undivided attention. Nothing new by a long shot, but now having the title of Demon Lord, a brave face at the ready is expected. Rimuru is aware everyone gives him the up most respect, but doesn't want them to have a "Fear thy God" attitude toward him. He is still the same cute, little slime that came into their world.

As he walked along the buildings, a bright flash of light caught him off gaurd. He shouted as he covered his face, that was when he felt the ground below him give way. Rimuru opened his eyes quickly to see nothing but black. Pitch black everywhere he looked as he fell to who knows where. He looked for anything to get himself out. Even above to only see more darkness. What was going on?! Why is this happening!? Now of all times!

'Was this some kind of attack!? How did anyone get through all our defenses and with Raphel keeping an eye on everything!?' he thought to himself, completely panicked.

Everything began to spin and his sense of direction had become lost. Rimuru shouted into the void as another flash of light appeared. He tried to fight it off, yet nothing happened. It only felt like a second had passed before he soon fell into unconsciousness.
