Halloween Restoration

Chapter 5

Halloween was finally here!

Kids were in the stores looking for their costumes, people had their decorations up and candy set.

The candy stores were almost empty so as almost every store with Halloween items.

This was a night to get candy and dress up.

And more.

Bella was at work with Mei at the grocery store seeing people grab bags of candy.

"Wow everyone is going all out." Mei said.

"You can say that again." Bella said.

They checked out the items and went on their lunch break.

"So are you ready for tonight." Mei said.

"My place." Bella said, taking a sip of water.

"Great, we'll pop some popcorn, watch movies, and just chat."

"It's alright with me."

"Well, let's finish the day."

They ended their break and headed back in the store.

Laurie was leaving from school, to go home and get ready to babysit, it made her stop and remember what happened years ago.

She wanted to shake the nightmare but couldn't, her friends arm gone and that man is still out there somewhere.

She hope that he died from his injuries and will not return to this town.

Pushing that aside, for now, Laurie went home to get this over with.

As the sun was setting some kids had already came out dressed to get some candy.

Some parents wouldn't really let their kids out at night but some did.

Tommy and Lindsey were just in halloween shirts and pants, after what happened their parents' said they are not aloud to go trick or treating but they still eat candy so they weren't that sad.

The doorbell rung and Tommy went to open the door.

"Laurie!" Tommy said.

"Hey Tommy, is Lindsey already here?" Laurie asked.

"Yeah she's in the living room."

Laurie walks inside and said bye to Mr. and Mrs. Doyle and went to the living room.

"Okay guys what should we do first."

"Watch a movie and eat candy." Lindsey replied.

"Don't you think it's a little too early for candy."

"No."

"Well it is, movie first then candy."

"What!" The kids said.

"Okay okay, movies and candy."

Laurie laughs at how these two were with candy.

"Yay!"

And they ran two get the bowls of candy.

Bella was at home freshening up, Mei said she would be here soon so she had got everything in order.

It kinda reminds her about sleep overs, even know she never had any it felt like it.

The doorbell rung, it was Mei, opening it she had a duffle bag and a bag from work full of goodies.

"Planning on spending the night." Bella said.

"I already know after this I'm going to be tired and don't want to be driving." Mei said, walking in.

Bella closed the door shaking her head.

"If I knew this was going to happen we should've just moved in together."

"I agree."

Mei puts down her things and went into the kitchen.

"I'll start the food, you can find something to watch."

"Okay."

Bella grabs the wrote and switched through each channel.

Tonight is going to be fun and relaxing.

At Lindsey's house, the three was watching a movie will eating candy.

"Remember you don't want to get any tummy aches." Laurie said, reminding them on last time they ate all the candy.

"Okay." Tommy said putting his bowl away with Lindsey, "Can we make sculptures down?"

"Of course, I'll get the kit."

Laurie got up and went to the kitchen, she grabbed napkins and water and before she left she looked out the window seeing a figure.

"Please god, tell me that I'm seeing things."

She blinks, it was gone, sighing she brought everything to the living room.

"Lindsey go get a sheet please."

"Okay."

Back at Bella's house the two were laying on the couch next to each other, eating popcorn and watching the movie.

It was scary but also not scary.

Bella looks at the time seeing it was nine o clock.

"Wow we've been watching this for two hours." She said.

"It's just about to end." Mei yawns, already tired.

"Let's just call this a night and go to bed."

"Fine with me."

The ladies curled up in their blankets and falls asleep.

Now the night really begins.

"Sheriff, I'm telling you, Michael Myers is alive and needs to be stopped!" Dr. Loomis said, trying to keep up with the sheriff.

"Dr. Loomis for the last time, Michael Myers is dead!" Sheriff Brackett said, sitting down at his desk her looks up at the desperate man.

"Sheriff this is serious! I shot him two ago and he still kept walking, I set the two of use on fire and you still haven't found his body."

"Dr-"

Dr. Loomis took off his glove showing his scares.

"I have to live with this for the rest of my life sheriff, I will not stop and rest while the devil is out there on his two feet! Do you want what happened two years ago to happen again?"

The Sheriff looks at Dr. Loomis and sighs.

"We'll patrol the area while people are trick or treating."

"Thank you sheriff."

Brakett called some officers out and they went to patrol the town of haddonfield.
