[In Sunagakure]

Today, the kazekage of Suna is particularly bothered more than usually

It wasn't because of his Brother Konkuro, his sister Temari, or Even the massive pile of paperwork he had to do. It was a memory of the chunin exams.

But not the exams themselves but a special someone who participated in them. Gaara longed to see his bright smile again but he knew he couldn't go to Konahagkure with no good reason.

Just then he hear a sound, breaking his thoughts. *tat tat*. He looked to his left to see 2 Kunai knives falling to the floor, deflected by the sand, now surrounding the kazekage.

He looked out of his window to see 2 Rouge ninja about to throw more Kunai.

G- Sand Coffin!

Gaara sat back down to think as he heard the sound of their bodies being crushed.

Then Konkuro, followed my Temari, burst through the door to see what all the noise was. Yet, all they saw was the last bits of gaaras Chakra infused sand going back into the gourd on his back.

Remembering that this happens twice a week they said meh and went back to what they were doing.

Thats when a thought popped into gaara's mind. And with that, he called his Brother and sister back into his office.

G- Temari, Konkuro I'm going to the hidden leaf village for some important business and I need someone to fill in for me as the KazeKage.

K- I think I could do it! I've watched you do paperwork so much I've practically memorized how to do it!

G- okay then it's settled!

Gaara walked up to his siblings and gave them a hug while fighting back the sand that threatened threatened come out to protect Gaara.

G- I love you guys

And with that, Gaara jumped out of his window, heading to Konaha.

*three days later*

Lee!

"Yes sakura?" Lee said, cutting his training short.

"Lady Tsunade needs you in her office within 10 minutes!"

Okay!

Lee wiped the sweat from his face as he ran to the hokage's building. He opened the door to the building to find Gaara, the Kazekage of the Hidden Sand Village looking at him.

"Lady Tsunade!" Lee yell,talked. "I am here!"

"Lee! There you are. I have a new mission for you!" Tsunade said

"Really‽ what is it?"

"I need you to go to Sunagakure with The Kazekage because many Rouge ninja have tried to attach him recently and he specifically requested you to protect him, so I can't get you out of this."

"Oh wow!", Lee fake yelled, knowing well that gaara could protect himself. "I accept this mission!"

"Very well. I expect you to be put of the gates by the time 1 hour is up, Clear?"

"Clear!"

"Okay now get going!"

Lee and Gaara left the hokage's building to go to Lee's apartment.
Lee almost forgot Gaara was with him until he slipped off of a roof getting to his apartment.

Suddenly he felt a grainy substance underneath him. When he opened his eyes he said it was sand. He looked back and said

"Thanks Lord Kazekage!"

"Please, just call me gaara." Gaara said in his usual dull tone.

Afterward they continued to Lee's apartment. When they arrived, Lee said

"Gaara, please wait here on the sofa! I will pack my things quickly!"

Gaara stood there and waited for Lee to finish packing his things.

After a while, Gaara couldn't help but look around in Lee's apartment. In the living room, he said tons of weights on the floor. He looked at one and it's read 240 lb. Gaara furrowed his non existent eyebrows as he tried picking it up. But as he expected, he could not lift it, due to how skinny he was, and how heavy the weight was. Then he let all the sand put of his gourd and broke the gourd and let all of the sand spill onto the ground. He tried to pick up the sand once more and to his amazement, he picked it up 3 or 4 feet off the ground. He dropped it mid air as his sand retreated to his now reformed gourd on his back.

Just then Lee heard a loud *BANG* coming from his living room. He ran put and saw Gaara hovering on a sand platform sitting crisscross applesauce.

[A/N] do yall still say crisscross applesause? Or just crisscross? Let me know.

L- Gaara what happened?" Lee said worried.

G- "Noting, I just tried to life up one of your weights" (read gaaras lines in his kinda bored tone and ready Lee's like he talks in the anime kinda formalish? Yall know what I mean)

L- "Oh, Well I am almost done packing, I just need to pack some food!"

G- No need we have plenty already.

L- "Okay! Shall we go then?" Lee said giving Garra a huge smile.

Gaara blushes under his sand armor.

G- Yes, let's go

Lee and Gaara went around Konoha for Lee to say his goodbyes to everyone, then they headed to the gates.

L- I'm going to miss this place.

G- I know, but look on the bright side. You have q new village in Suna with me.

Gaara suddenly realized what he said and turned a deep shade of red.
Lee heard this and was shocked by what Gaara had said because he is usually dull.

L- I guess so Lee said

Then they headed out of the village gates on their 3 day trip to suna.
