A fresh start.

Chapter 1

I deleted my other book because I didn't like it but this is a quick first chapter for you to read - Alisha

"Hey Alien!" someone shouted at me from down the hall and I turned around. Oh great the school jocks! Why do they have to be horrid to me and call me names? They don't hit me or abuse me or anything just call me names because they know it gets on my nerves a lot. Let me introduce myself my name is Alisha Hudson and I go to private school and I am rich I have brown hair and brown eyes (The girl in the picture of the book) I don't like it here as everyone has their groups and I don't fit into any categories anyways back to reality. "What do you want James?" I ask as I turn around "How about you come to the party I am having?" He asks "You don't even like me why would you want me there?" I say like he is stupid "I thought we could have a little fun." He smiles "Getting me drunk and videoing me isn't fun James!" I say raising my voice "That's what we do for fun around here." he says getting louder as well "Well I don't like being here!" I shout "Well why don't you move then!" He yells back "I will I'll move house as well since you know where I live because you are such a stalking creep!" I yell in his face "Good move because no one here likes you anyways." He says and walks off laughing with his friends. I roll my eyes and I look in my locker and I see the various pictures of the place I have always wanted to go..... LA. The rest of the day dragged by because I was so bored I just wanted to get out of this place. Finally it was the end of the day and I got all my stuff and walked home as it wasn't that far away and as I was walking home James ran up to me "Hey Alisha!" he called "What James." I say fed up "I am sorry did you mean it when you said you would move?" He asked me "Yeah but why would you care?" I asked "Because I think you are cool." He says and I stop and look at him "Are you insane?" I ask him with a funny look "No I actually think your cool." He smiles "Where is the catch?" I asks looking around for anything about to fly my way "There isn't one." he huffs "James I think there is a catch because you don't like me no one here does and you call me names everyday." I say "I know sorry about that." He says "Well why do it?" I ask as we start to walk to my house together "Because I am jealous because you are so smart and so not dorky at the same time and you don't care what others think." he replies "You don't need to care about what others think you are already the pretty face popular jock and you are smart you just waste it on being stupid." I laugh and he laughs "here let me get your number and we can talk some more maybe." He smiles so I put my number in his phone and text myself saying that it was James's number and we say bye and I walk into my house. That was certainly weird! I think as I walk into my room and fall onto my bed and lay and think about my day and how much I actually want to go to LA. I am going to ask when my parents get back in about 30 minutes but for now I will have a nap.

I wake up and sit on my phone as my parents don't come back for 5 minutes "Alisha we're home!" I hear my mum shout and I get up and go downstairs "Mum. Dad. How was work?" I ask with a smile and I cuddle them "It was dreadful I am just happy we are home." My mum smiled and it popped into my head that this was the perfect time to ask so I took my shot "Hey mum, dad I was thinking what if we move to LA you will be able to get a fresh start and get a new job." I suggest then bite my lip "That actually sounds like a good idea." my dad smiles "I will look at booking the tickets to get there in a while." He continues and I cheer and hug them and I run upstairs and lay on my bed smiling at the ceiling. I was finally moving to LA!
