CHAPTER 7: ɪᴛ's ᴏᴋᴀʏ

WHILE ON-JO WAS PEACEFULLY RESTING ON HIS BROTHER'S LAP—

Ji-min then stood up abruptly and pointed towards Y/n, startling the others

“What is it?” Hyo-ryung asked

“Wasn't he infected?!” Ji-min yelled

Y/n just stared at her with no expression as he continues to caress his sister's hair, he doesn't give a shit on what the girl was saying, all he cares about right now is his sister's safety.

“You done?” Y/n asked coldly

Everyone seemed to ignore Ji-min's words and was about to go back to what they we're doing until Hyo-ryung stood up and ran beside Ji-min, scared and pointing toward's Y/n's arm where he was bitten by Gwi-nam

“He's been bitten!” Hyo-ryung said

Cheong-san run and  was about to grab On-jo away from Y/n when he the male gave him a glare

“Touch her and I'll kill you.” Y/n threatened

Cheong-san stopped midway and just stood there beside Su-hyeok who has Nam-ra beside him, Dae-su and Wu-jin gave Y/n both a worried glance while Joon-yeong silently took a step back not wanting to be apart of something that might happen later on

“Y/n, what if-” Cheong-san started

“What if you shut the fuck up?” Y/n finished it for him

“I'm perfectly fine, if I we're about to turn I would've turned already.” Y/n sighed as he tapped On-jo on her shoulder waking her up

She lifted her head up from Y/n's shoulder and looked around only to see them being surrounded by the others

“What's going on?” On-jo asked

“They're overreacting.” Y/n said

“We're not! You have a bite mark!” Ji-min yelled

Once On-jo stood up Y/n went up and was about to walk towards Ji-min when suddenly someone swung a lyrics stand towards him, he lifted both his arms to shield himself.

“Lee Cheong-san!” On-jo yelled angrily as she ran towards Cheong-san and pushed him

“What are you doing?! It wasn't a zombie that bit him!” Su-hyeok yelled as he pulled the lyrics stands away from Cheong-san

“What do you mean?” Cheong-san asked

“It was Gwi-nam.” Su-hyeok said

Cheong-san furrowed his brows as he stare back at Y/n who was being checked by On-jo

“Y/n, we're you really bitten by Gwi-nam?” Cheong-san asked only to receive no answer

“Answer me.” Cheong-san demanded

Y/n gently pushed On-jo towards Hyo-ryung who immediately wrapped her arm around the girls body, knowing that she'll run towards her brother later on

Y/n stood in front of Cheong-san and lifted up his sleeves showing the bite mark that Gwi-nam left

“Yeah I did.” He answered before angrily shoving his sleeves back down

“I saw Gwi-nam getting bi by a zombie.” Cheong-san said

“What type of bullshit is that?” Su-hyeok asked

“If you get bitten by zombies, you turn.” Cheong-san argued

“But I didn't.” Y/n said sitting on the table beside Nam-ra who was sitting on a chair

She glanced at Y/n then slowly moved her eyes down to his arm where she could see the bitten part of his sleeves

“So if Gwi-nam bit him-”

“You're wrong!” Su-hyeok yelled catching everyone's attention and making Cheong-san stop from speaking

Loud bangings from the window can be heard as the zombies try to get in.

Nam-ra slowly grabbed Y/n's hand, he feels warm under her touch unlike how a zombie would feel

Usually the zombies feel really cold unlike Y/n, she turned to look at him and saw him watching the two argue

She turned his arm and slowly and gently lifted up the sleeves not wanting to hurt him in the process, once the sleeves was up she examined the bite mark and felt her heart drops

There were veins coming from the bite mark, something she had seen from I-sak when she turned or from the other students

The veins we're crawling up towards his upper body part, she couldn't help but to feel worried for the male

She was about to let go of his hand when suddenly she felt him move his arm and went to grab her hand, engulfing it with his

She looked up to him and saw him staring back at her with a small smile on his lips

As the two argues about whether Y/n is turning or Gwi-nam is a zombie, Nam-ra couldn't help but to feel tears form in her eyes as she worries that she might lose him...again

“He spoke to me!” Su-hyeok suddenly yelled and turned to Y/n and there he saw the two holding each other's hand, he felt his heart ache at the scene but it was not the right time for that

“You saw him, right?” Su-hyeok asked Y/n

“Listen, if you two wouldn't stop I'll just leave.” Y/n said, he felt Nam-ra's hand tightened as if she doesn't want to let go, which she was.

“No one is leaving!” Su-hyeok snapped

“Well damn.” Y/n muttered

Dae-su and Wu-jin snickered at the scene but stop immediately when Joon-yeong glared at them

Su-hyeok saw something on the floor and went to grab it before grabbing Y/n's hand away from Nam-ra

He dragged him towards the window and slides it opened

“I can walk, there's no need for you to throw me ou-” Y/n stopped talking when he saw Su-hyeok tying their arms together with the rope he found

“What the fuck are you doing..” Y/n muttered under his breath as he watched the male tightened the knot he made before facing Cheong-san

“Here, if he turns I'll be the first one he'll bite.” Su-hyeok said while lifting both their arms up

“I won't turn-” Y/n was about to argue but immediately stops when Su-hyeok turned to glare at him

He sighed and went to sit on the window, unintentionally lifting Su-hyeok's arm towards his lap.

“Cheong-san, please stop this.” On-jo said

“It's okay.” Y/n said towards his sister who only gave him a worried glance

He nodded his head towards her and gave her a reassuring smile which somewhat made On-jo felt a little relieved

“I'll be fine, don't worry.”
