The sun streamed softly through the curtains, casting a warm glow over the cozy living room. Jungkook sat curled up on the couch, knees tucked under his oversized hoodie as he scrolled through his phone. His fluffy bunny ears twitched slightly as he absentmindedly reached out, fingers instinctively tangling in the soft fur of Taehyung's tiger tail.

Taehyung, who was lying beside him, propped up on one elbow, smirked as he felt the familiar tug. His little bunny was at it again.

Taehyung: "Bunny~" he purred, shifting slightly, making his tail flick teasingly under Jungkook's touch.

Jungkook: "Mm?" the younger hummed, eyes glued to his phone, completely unaware of what his hands were doing.

Taehyung's smirk deepened. He turned on his side, resting his head against Jungkook's shoulder, his breath tickling the bunny hybrid's neck.

Taehyung: "You like my tail that much, huh?"

Jungkook froze. His fingers twitched around the fluffy fur before his eyes darted downward-straight to where his hand was still wrapped around Taehyung's tail. His face turned a deep shade of pink.

Jungkook: "Ah-! N-No, I-" he stammered, instantly letting go as if the tail had burned him.

Taehyung chuckled, his deep voice vibrating through Jungkook's entire body. He grabbed his own tail and playfully draped it over Jungkook's lap.

Taehyung: "Why so shy, Bun? You touch it all the time."

Jungkook covered his face with his sleeves, his small body shrinking further into the couch.

Jungkook: "I-I don't mean to! It's just-it's fluffy!" he whined.

Taehyung tilted his head, golden feline eyes gleaming with amusement. He reached out, gently tugging Jungkook's sleeves down to uncover his face.

Taehyung: "You don't have to be embarrassed, baby. If you wanna play with it, go ahead~" His voice was teasing, but the way he leaned in, noses almost touching, sent Jungkook's heart into a frantic rhythm.

Jungkook let out a tiny, nervous squeak before turning away, ears drooping.

Jungkook: "You're so annoying, hyung..." he mumbled.

Taehyung laughed, pressing a quick kiss to Jungkook's heated cheek before shifting to lay his head on the younger's lap. His tail flicked once before curling around Jungkook's wrist like a silent invitation.

Taehyung: "Better get used to it, Bun. You're stuck with me forever."

Jungkook gulped, eyes darting to the way Taehyung's tail now lazily draped across his thighs, the warmth of his mate pressing against him. He hesitated for a moment before slowly, carefully, running his fingers through the soft fur again.

Taehyung purred.

Jungkook swore his heart was going to explode.

The morning was slow and peaceful, just the way Taehyung liked it. The soft chirping of birds filtered in through the open window, a gentle breeze making the curtains sway. Taehyung stretched lazily, his sharp golden eyes flickering over to his tiny bunny mate, who was curled up at the end of the bed, scrolling through his phone.
