Harry was walking though the halls of Hogwarts, he ignored the looks and whispers about him swirling around him, last years events from the tournament came to haunt him, he turned towards the dorms when he heard a shout"Hey Harry, did you see what they released in the Daily Prophet." Ron said running towards Harry

" I swear if its something about me again I-"

"Don't worry Harry, it's not about you it's about the demigods." Ron interrupted before Harry could go on a rant

"The what now." As if summoned Hermione came out thin air, probably sensing his confusion and stupidity.

"Do you not listen in History of magic?"

"Hermione, that's the class everyone sleeps in."

Sighing she continued on "demigods where rumored to exist throughout wizard history, they even had a couple cults, but there was no confirmation until today."

"Why are they so important?"

"Harry, even I know this, they taught us magic." Ron had the look of disappointment when he told Harry this.

"That's just a rumor."

"Wait." Harry paused shocked "they did what!"

People turned to see the Boy-who-lived outburst, people turned back to there groups whispering to each other, the outburst probably didn't help his already ruined reputation.

Rolling his eyes, he went back to talking to Ron and Hermione, ignoring the whispers.

Hermione gave him a pitying look before continuing. "Demigods are rumored to teach ancient wizards how to control their magic, although if you ask me I think the demigods only gave us a nice push towards control, we can't give them all the credit towards our advancement, which reminds me have you heard the legendary witch-"

And Harry zoned out, Hermione could rant for hours about the history of magic so he learned how to effectively tune her out.

As if on auto pilot he headed towards the dorms, finally making it inside he saw many people talking throughout the common room.

Thankfully not about him

"Hey Harry did you see the news,"

"It"

"Was"

"Brilliant."

"I didn't think that you two would be excited to hear about the demigods." Harry told the twins, confused.

"Don't let them fool you Harry," Ron said behind him "those two have always wanted to meet one since they heard about the pranks the demigods would do on ancient wizards."

Turning confused "I thought you said they taught us magic, you didn't mention anything else."

"They did."

"Teach us magic."

"But stories say"

"They were bloody brilliant at pranking."

The twins seemed ecstatic at the idea of meeting a demigod, Harry didn't know what the big fuss was about.

He was grateful that he wasn't the main topic for the night, he needed a break, the more he heard about demigods the more curious he was about them

He didn't believe all the rumors (he knows how much rumors could ruins someone's life) but he found himself wanting to know more about them.

He can't help but wonder what they are like.

(Percy POV)

He was in charge of taking the year rounders to the local mall, the kids as old as fourteen and as young as seven followed around him like little ducklings.

He had a limited budget but he ended up paying out of his own pocket when five sets of puppy eyes fell upon him when they passed by a icecream place.

Finishing his blue icecream, he held onto the two youngest while the older ones wondered a little farther( far enough to feel independent but close enough so that if a monster attacks he could save them in time.) Percy kept his eyes on the kids, suddenly he felt someone watching them.

This could be one of four things, a weirdo perv, a curious mortal, a monster, or a god (Percy would beat up most of these options only sparing the curious mortal)

Percy was hoping for the second option, all it took was a quick glare to scare off most options anyways.

Looking towards the direction of the stare he was greeted by a group of people, they seemed to be looking at them holding up a device, Percy felt like an animal in one of those nature documents, by the way the device looked like a messed up camera and the way the people tried to dress up to be normal, Percy didn't like the way they perked up at his stare nor did he like when one turned towards the camera thingy to talk.

Right now he's leaning towards the first option or a really messed up monster.

The kids seemed to notice his unease, the older ones went closer to him, hands on their weapons, while the younger ones stopped holding his hands and hid behind him.

The group seemed to realize the change in Percy's demeanor as well as the kids because they all took a step back as if that would pacify him, like he was a wild animal or something.

Percy decided his best option was to lose them in the crowd and head back to camp, he needed to report this incident immediately, doing a quick hand movement everyone learns at camp, the kids immediately understood, they split into two group, older ones went the the quicker route home, sticking close and ready for an attack, Percy took the younger two the longer route ( the one with the best places to hide the kids) in turn to their movements the group watching them split to, while most followed him a couple went after the other kids.

Demigods always had abnormal hearing and thanks to this he overheard the group talking.

The 'reporter' as Percy likes to call her, started talking again "right now we are following our very own American demigods, we seemed to be following the leader of the group, while he and the youngest seemed to be heading somewhere, is it possibly where the colony of these creatures live."

Percy was furious, what were they to these people, animals?

If they where normal mortal they wouldn't see though the mist and if they where clear-sighted all Percy could think about is how messed up they are.

The kids seemed to overhear to because they all flinch at the words.

"Percy, why do they talk about us like we are animals, are we animals?" A little girl named Lilly asked.

"No Lilly, we are not they are just messed up." He whispered back.

Quickly moving though the crowds, Percy tired to loose them, eventually(thanks to the local offices lunch break) Percy lost them and headed back to camp.

The last thing he heard from them was when he was hiding the reported over exaggerated sigh, he saw her turned towards the camera.

"It seemed we were spotted and we scared them off, but don't worry we will find these creatures and safely document them as per orders of the united states congress of magic, and to the viewers outside of our country, don't worry we will treat them as any wizard would from the wizards community, as a valuable and rare species." She gave a reporters smile, making Percy want to punch her.

He felt a pull on his jeans to see the youngest of the group, Timmy look up with tearful eyes "I don't want to be documented Percy

End notes: Ok so in the book and movies of Harry Potter you have to admit Wizards treat other creatures terribly, they either turn them into slaves or chain them up and study them(or turn them into glorified pets) the books are about racism in the wizard community and it really shows though how the treatment muggle born and house elves.

Percy showed the victims of wizard curiosity thought process though his pov

Also could someone tell me who made the art for my cover because it's beautiful.
