Bill Pov

I floated midair, memories flashing through my brain. All I could think of right now was the past, what was just risked and taken away from me faster than I could blink.

Everything flashed through my mind in such horrific detail, the very thought made me want to scream and cry and let everything around me burn, the thoughts wouldn't stop.

Tyrone sat next to me on the palace rooftop, the two of us staring at the sky. He kept pointing out his favorite constellations, naming stars and telling me stories he heard from other dimensions about how the stars and constellations supposedly got there. He told me about Orion, the great warrior, and how its brightest star was Sirius. He told me about the North Star and how humans from dimension 46'\ used to use it to know where they were going during travel.

"Oh! There's Ursa Major, or some people call it the Big Dipper. That one's my favorite," Tyrone mentioned. He spoke with such excitement it was impossible not to smile at his happiness. "Bill?" he asked, calling out my name. "Yes, Tyrone?" I responded, locking gazes with him. "You know how...well, you know how when demons get sacrificed to the mortal plane how they're born with birthmarks of one of their favorite things or a birthmark of their choosing?" I tilted my head in confusion. Why would he be asking me about that? "Yes...What about it?" I responded, and he started rubbing his right hand up and down on his left shoulder, a nervous habit of his.

I grabbed his hand and took it away from his shoulder, grasping his hand gently in my own. "What's wrong, love?" I asked, and he smiled nervously at me, soon relaxing and becoming more comfortable. "I know your parents don't like me much...I was thinking, if I ever got sacrificed...I think I'd have the Big Dipper as my birthmark. That way, you could find me," he spoke quietly. I brought a hand to his cheek, cupping his face. "I'm sure that won't happen. But if it does, that's a good idea. Put it bigggg across your forehead so I'll be sure to see it," I joked towards the end of my sentence, hoping to make him feel better. He laughed at my joke, smiling at me happily. "I just might do that," he said, his smile making me feel as though I were sitting on a cloud.

I ran into his room, looking around frantically for him. "Tyrone!" I yelled, searching for him. He stepped out of his closet, a worried expression on his face as he saw my urgency. "What's wrong, Bill?" he asked, striding towards me calmly. He rested a hand on my shoulder, the other on my face. A tear slipped past my eye, running down my left cheek. "Tyrone- it's my parents, they-" He stopped me. "Hey hey hey, calm down. Breathe, okay? Here, copy me," he spoke in a comforting tone, exaggerating his breaths. I slowly managed to copy his breathing pattern, calming down my heart rate. "Alright, you're okay, it's okay, I'm here. Now, what's wrong?" Tyrone spoke, and I gulped before I continued my sentence from before.

"Tyrone, my parents are horrible- I knew they didn't like you, but I didn't think they'd do this! They said that they're 'testing' my love for you, they're really trying to torture me! They're going to sacrifice you!" I got out, panicking. "Tyrone, I can't- I can't lose you, they'll sacrifice you to the mortal realm, to dimension 46'\, they won't let me go find you, I know they won't!" I rambled, terrified. "I can't lose you-" I repeated, him catching my gaze. "Hey...it's alright, calm down. I'm right here..." he spoke soothingly, pulling me in close to him, hugging me and rocking me slightly in his arms.

I calmed down more in his embrace, letting my head rest in the crook of his neck. "When are they going to do it?" he asked, and I gulped. "In three days," I replied, lifting my arms up and wrapping them around him. I began crying, burying my face in his shoulder. He patted my back, whispering comforting words in my ear and letting me cry.
