gone too soon

Milo and Cassie come back in and start discussing their plans for the investigation.
"Alright listen up people. One by One you must enter the drawing room and answer our questions HONESTLY, if we found out you have lied or kept the truth from us at all then that is a criminal offense and there will be consequences."

The first one to be questioned was Lottie.
"Alright lottie, we just want to ask a couple of questions. Do you swear to tell only the truth and nothing but the truth?" Milo asked
"yeah." Lottie replied
"alright, what was your relationship like with effe?"
"I dont know, she was dating my best friend and i talked to her a couple times at guppies parties but we werent exactly close." Lottie said
"alright, Do you know of anyone else who had a bad relationship with Effe?" Cassie asked
Lottie looked left and right and leaned in slightly
"look, i dont want to grass on my brother but i heard them arguing a couple hours before effe died and Evan looked to be getting very angry.. but i dont think Evan has the guts to kill her..!" Lottie said.
Cassie wrote something down in her notebook.
"Alright thanks for that. You may go now, tell Wren that its her go." Milo said.

Wren walked in and sat down, her posture was perfect.
"Hello Wren. We just want to ask you some questions." Milo said
"alright, thats fine by me!" Wren said, smiling.
"okay, what was your relationship like with effe?"
"I mean I didnt really talk to her apart from once or twice, shes abit to shy for me." Wren replied confidently.
"alright, have you noticed any suspicious behaviour from the other guests towards effe?" Cassie asked, writing down stuff in her book.
"yes i did actually, not today but i heard from one of my friends that Guppie and Effe were CONSTANTLY fighting over debts and they arnt really as rich as they present themselves. I dont know, maybe guppie killed effe in a fit of rage after one of their disputes?" Wren said, she seemed to love making everyone else seem less perfect than her. After that, Wren got up and left.

Milo turned to Cassie and said "I dont know about you but i think we have all the information we need!"
"yep! i dont think we need to interview anybody else but i am ganna go and see if i can find anything in effes room." Cassie said before walking upstairs and into Effes room.
First, Cassie walked to the dresser and went through it, she found Effes diary, it looked to be from when she was a kid. While looking through it, Cassie found out that Star and Ziya used to bully Effe all throughout her school years before Effe transferred schools. Could this be a motive for star and ziya?
However, this was soon disproven by the letters Cassie found from ziya and star, apoligising and telling Effe how guilty they felt. If this were true, why would Star and Ziya kill Effe? Surely that would make them feel worse? This must rule them both out. Cassie thought to herself.
