Legend has it, many years ago, a care taker went down there after a long day at work. He was closing the curtains when.... he wrapped his neck around the rope and then pulled the rope as hard as he could, hanging himself and dead within seconds. The head teacher obviously knew this story but he didn't believe it was true so he took and deep breath and made his way down the steps and under the stage. He was surrounded by darkness. He fumbled around trying to find a light switch. As he flicked the switch a beam of light hit a dark figure. It didn't take him long to work out what this suspended figure was. It was the caretaker....
