You and Yelena have been in a relationship for about 3 years now, She knew everything about you and you knew everything about her but she didn't know you hated mound bangs, mainly thunder and lightning.

It was 11pm and Yelena was at work, You turned on the news as you waited for Yelena to get home.
"There is reports of thunder and a possible storm toni-" The tv was cut off by you switching it off, Your breathing was going crazy. You were so scared Even thought the storm wasn't even going on yet.

You sighed after sitting on the couch trying to steady your breathing. You got up and got in bed, Wishing Yelena was there to hug you. Just as you laid down, You heard the rain start. You were fine with rain, It wasn't sudden or loud, It was kind of peaceful actually. You lay there looking at the ceiling, Missing Yelena you get your phone out and call her.

"Hey, what's up?" Yelena asks.
"Nothing, Just missed your voice. When will you be home?" You ask
"Soon i promise love i'm sorry." Yelena reply's.
"okay. I love you." You say starting to tear up because of how much you missed her.
"i love you too love" You hear from the other side of the phone before hanging up.

1:03am

The storm was loud now, Thunder every 2 minutes and lighting blasting through the blinds, You we're curled in a ball trying to think about stuff other than the storm, You tried listening to music, Earplugs, everything but none of it worked. All you wanted was yelena. For her to be there, For her to hug you and tell you it's okay.
You burst out crying at the thought of it.
You tried calling her again.
"Lena." You said whimpering and crying.
"Hey. Im on my way home right now i'll be 10 minutes." Yelena says, Suddenly noticing the little sniffles coming from her phone.
"Woah, Hey why are you crying love??" She says panicking.
"The storm, I don't like it" You say stuttering a lot.
"Okay Okay love i'll be home soon just keep talking to me, Focus on my voice okay." Yelena says speeding not caring if she gets a ticket.
"Okay " you say breaking down in tears.
"I love you so much, I'm nearly there okay. I love you, I want you to know that, It's gonna be okay i'm pulling into the drive now okay love" She says ending the call and running into the house, Almost falling over on the way in.

You hear someone bust through the bedroom door.
"Y/n" Yelena says frowning.
You hear her get into bed and feel it sink. She tucked up behind you and you turned over.
"Lena" You say crying
"Hey it's going to be okay i promise it will all be gone soon, just listen to me okay, Want me to read you a story?" Yelena says tucking your head into her chest and holding it.
"please" you whimper. Yelena reached over you being careful not to squish you, She got the book off the bedside table and started reading it. She sat up and you got up and straddled her, Leaning into her chest and placing your head on her shoulder.
"How much to give and how much to earn, If you talk in that sense-" she trailed off, You were practically melting. She was using her other free hand to play with your hair, Twisting it between her fingers.

3:36am

The storm had finally died down. After a while Yelena had stopped playing with your hair and was now stroking your back, It was something she always done. It made you sleepy every-time for some reason. She was still reading, her voice getting sleepy. Her body was numb from you laying on it but she didn't care, You were like a koala, Also a blanket keeping her warm. Your eyes started to close, Trying to hold them open for a little longer so you could still see yelena. She noticed your eyes fluttering on and off and finally spoke up
"You can sleep you know, We can finish the story tomorrow i promise." she says.
"Okay, I love you with my whole life. Thank youuu" You say before trailing off to sleep
"i love you too my love" She says. You managed to hear it before drowsing in your dreams.
