Spells Beyond

Trip to New York City

"Hi. My name is August. I am 11 years old and I am about to move to a new house. My dad got a better job in New York so we had to move there."

I packed all my belongings and put them each in a box.

"August! Are you done packing yet?" my dad screaming at the top of his lungs.

"Almost done!" I yelled opening my door.

I packed my blankets,pictures,collages,shoes,clothes and my technology items. I went to go check on my younger brother Tony.

"Hey Tony," I said opening his door.

"August look! my brother cried out.

My dog named Ashely was having babies.

"Wow! Let's go tell dad! I'll go get him" I said.

I ran downstairs really quickly. He wasn't there. I checked in the basement. He was there.

"Dad! Ashely is having babies!" I said panting loudly.

"Ok August. Let's go bring Ashely to the vet." my dad said.

Tony grabbed Ashely ran downstairs and I took the babies downstairs wrapping them with paper towels. We got in the car. I sat in the front.
My brother sat in the back with Ashely. We were on our way to the vet.

"Tony, what do you want to name the two babies? Think of two names for a boy and a girl. Mine is Max and Noah for a boy. Mena and Peach for a girl."

"I like the ones you already said so I'll go with the ones you said," Tony replied.

We went to the vet. Ashely got a needle. Some weird reason, Ashely loves needles.

"Ashely has born a girl and a boy. Did you come up with any names?" the veterinarian asked.

"Yeah we did," Tony and I said.

"Let's hear it," the veterinarian Britney said.

"Tony you can pick," I said.

"Ok. I choose Max for a boy name and Mena for a girl name."

"Thank you for your patience guys. Those names are really nice. I like them. Good luck on your trip to New York. I'll see you there."

"How do you know we are going to New Yorks and why are you going there?" Tony asked.

"I'm sidekick I guess. I also got a new job there too." Britney said.

"Ok bye," my dad said grabbing Ashely, Max and Mena.

My dad went straight for the car. Tony and I followed. We got into the car. No one spoke at all. It was dead silence. We reached our home. Tony and I ran into the house. The truck that we rented was here.

"Tony, let's get our boxes and bring them into the trucks," I told him.

"Ok," he answered.

We brang our boxes downstairs and into the truck. When we got to the truck our mattresses were already in the truck.

"These are our last boxes daddy," Tony said.

"Than let's get into the car," daddy told us.

We went into the car. Ashely was laying with her puppies.

The truck followed our car. If you didn't know where we lived, we live in Los Angeles. But we are moving to New York. 12 hour drive. But I didn't care.
Sitting in the car took a while. Tony slept for half of the trip. Max and Mena slept all the time but weren't hungry. We took a stop at the Winter Mountain gas station. Tony and I ran into the gas station to go in the washroom. Once we came out we saw a key game where we could win a iPod touch 5!

"Let's go to daddy and ask him if he has a dollar," I said.

"Ok," Tony answered.

Tony and I ran to the car.

"Dad can we have a dollar?" Tony asked in his cutest voice.

"Sorry honey, but no," dad replied.

"But please daddy!!! We could win a iPod touch 5!!!" Tony yelled.

"Don't make him mad dad," I told dad.

"Ok alright, I'll give you one dollar for each person," daddy said.

"THANKS DADDY," Tony and I yelled at the same time.

We grabbed a dollar and ran inside.

"There's two iPod touch 5s! We should both can get one!"

I went first. I made the key go up. I pressed the button. It went through and pushed one of the iPod touches down into the slot.

"Yay me! I got one! Awesome!" I screamed in the store.

"My turn," Tony said.

"Waittttt... can you do it for me? I don't know how and I want a iPod touch too."

"Fine," I said happily.

It was the moment when is weird thing happened. I moved the key up, than the button got pressed. Than my hand started to go in a circle and had colours and then my finger pointed at the key machine game. The key went up and went right in the hole.

"Woah. That was weird," Tony said.

The iPod touch dropped.

"Yay I got one!" Tony said loudly.

"Is everything alright in here guys?" Dad asked.

"Yes daddy. August and I got an iPod!" Tony said.

"Now, now, get back into the car," Dad told us.

Tony and I ran into the car. I opened the box.

"Wow, this is cool," I said.

Tony opened his box. We both got the same exact colours. I took a picture of Tony and I.

"Cheezzzzzz," Tony and I said at the same time.

Dad came out of the gas station, got into the car, and started driving. An hour later, Tony was dozing off sleeping while i was looking around on the iPod. I started getting sleepy, so I fell asleep.

Once we were in New York, my dad cried out "We are in New York!"

Ashely barked loudly at dad. Tony woke up and laughed.

"You got barked at by a dog hahaha. Ashely was mad at you for waking her up," Tony said chuckling.

Max crawled up to me and Mena crawled up to Tony and layed on us. We all fell asleep again except my dad driving. Finally we got to our house.

"Guys time to wake up now," Dad told us.

Tony and I woke up. We got out of the car and ran to the truck that followed us here. We took our boxes and ran into the new house.

"Smells new," Tony said.

Tony and I explored the house. We saw enormous rooms. Once Tony and I had carried all the boxes upstairs, my hands went around in circles just like at the Winter Gas Station and made all the boxes explode. Every single item in the boxes was placed in a neat and tidy shelf.

"How are you doing this?" Tony asked.

"I have seriously have no clue!" I answered.
