"Hey, Alex! Have you heard of that new game?" Alex looked in the direction of her best friend Levi.

She stared blankly, and calmly replied. "Can you be more specific?"

The ravennette grew slightly annoyed at her dense mind. How could she not have heard about the new game that had been trending for the past two days?

"That 2d pixel adventure story game called "Venture Of The Wild"? Alex smiled and explained how she was planning on playing the game soon, but still hasn't found the time to.

He blinked once, and then twice, before just standing there with a dumbatruck look.

"You better play it today." Levi said in a menacing voice, while grabbing her shoulders.

Alex just nodded as fast as she could. Levi could be really scary sometimes.

It was about eight at night, and Alex had just finished her homework, when she got a text from her raven haired friend.

Alex sighed, and placed down her phone.
'Damn, I was really looking foward to having a break.'

Although she did really wanna ditch him and take a nap, she knew that he would pester her about it the day after.

She reluctantly grabbed her macbook air from her school bag, and began to type in her password.

Alex had finally got on discord, and connected her airpods.

"Hello?" The blonde spoke, calling out to the ravennette.

When he didn't answer, she sighed and looked out of her window. It was quite a beautiful sight, she had a view of the whole city, and was on the 24th floor of the most expensive apartment complex in the whole state.

Her bed was placed right next to the window, looking down on the city like a princess on a throne looking down on a bunch of peasants.

It was true, living on the very top floor of this apartment complex was like royalty, for it was only for the most richest people, and there was only 5 rooms on the floor.

How spoiling.

"Hey, Alex."
The blonde shook herself out of her thoughts, and she began to take his instructions to downloading the popular game.

「⚢」

"Now you get to decorate your character!"
Levi said in full enthusiasm.

Alex began to awe at how cute the little pixel characters appeared, and their walking animations were adorable.

Once the blonde had finished, she spawned in a pixelated world that had a bunch of people. It looked somewhat like a lobby.

She was looking at all of the little characters, and yes they were all cute but, the character that was the most eye appealing was a character with long orange hair, wearing a brown bear hat, and a long orange dress with a white undershirt.

Alex found her character absolutely adorable, so she decided to friend her just because of that.

"Alex, follow my character and I'll give you an invite to my world."

The blonde happily obliged and followed him.
That's when she saw that when Levi friended her, the orange haired girl had accepted her request as well.
