"We are going! So get your ass in the carriage now!" screamed your angry step mother. You had to go to the Phantomhive ball this evening, and you and your 'mother' were running late.
"Alright! Alright! I'm going." you yelled back.
There only good thing that will happen on this dreadful day, is that there might be someone cute at the ball. Though you never really thought about boys much.. quite frankly; you turn down every man that even looks at you.
"Hurry up! damn.. I knew you were a mistake when I made you," your mother harshly say's. Somehow your mothers words snapped you out of your thoughts, which is really hard to do. Then her words sunk in.. you were very hurt, but you quickly hid it and rolled your eyes. You got in the carriage now in your dress, and your 'mother' got in after you. (Exclusive-Colorful-Masquerade-) Then the carriage started to move, 'and off we go..,' you think sarcastically.
~time skip~
"We're here" your step mom says in a dark voice.
Then she does the unexpected; she hands you a knife.
"W-what am I supposed to do with this?" you stutter slightly, a sign of you being nervous.
"Tonight. You will kill the Earl of Phantomhive. If you can even do that then my company will own Funtom C.o!" she say's while laughing evilly.
You sigh nervously. "A-alright. I'll do it.." you say softly.
You put the knife in you bra and look at the door which was opened by a very handsome butler.
"Good evening, ladies. I do hope you have a wonderful time at the ball" he says smiling.
He helps you and your mother out of the carriage, but then kisses you hand after you step out and gives you a devilish smirk. You mother huffs and walks off rather dramatically . You sigh at her existence then look back at the butler and smile, trying your best not to blush. He lets go of your hand and walks you inside to the ball. What you didn't notice is that he saw the knife hidden in your bra, but acted as if he didn't.
"Please do enjoy yourself and do not hesitate to ask me if you need anything, and I do mean anything" he say's seductively.
And with that he was gone, leaving you flustered and confused.
You sigh and shake it off, walking to a corner to be antisocial and thinking about how you would kill Ciel..
Your body stiffens when you see Lord Phantomhive and the cute butler walking towards you. You start panicking on the inside but hide it on the outside very well. The only one who would notice is the butler but showed no sign of it.
"Hello. I hope your enjoying yourself thoroughly" the young earl says "But, if you don't mind my asking; why are you over here by yourself?" he asks with a obvious fake smile.
"I'm just not used to being around dancing" you reply shyly.
"I understand how you feel" he says. And surprisingly you could tell that he meant it.
"Excuse me, but I have to go talk to someone," he says then walks off. But, for some reason the butler stayed behind and had a hand out stretched to you. You blush and look down at it, but hesitantly you take it. Then he walks you out to the middle of the dance floor and wraps an arm around your waist, pulling you closer while entertwining his hand in yours, making you more flustered then you already were.
"My my, you seemed to have gotten a bit.. Red" he says while smirking a dangerous smirk. You finally notice the heat in your face after being to envoled with the point that he -the hottest man probably alive- was so close to you. He chuckles at how red your face was now As he starts to dance with you minicing his movements. You lightly sigh and lay your head on his chest, making sure that your knife does not touch him in any way. Stricken by your sudden sign of affection, a small -very light- blush appeared on his face; but being the butler of the earl, he must not show any sign of weakness. He took a deep breath silently and quickly regained his composure, all while smiling down at you. By now, everyone was staring at you, amazed and at awe at how gracefully you two were dancing. This made you blush of embarrassment, which the butler noticed. He decide to take your mind off the fact that everyone was staring at you as you gracefully danced across the floor.
"Ah. Do forgive my informalities, but I never seemed to tell you my name."he says breaking the silence.
"Oh. Thats alright. My name is (y/n) (l/n) " you say politely.
"I my darling, am Sebastian Michaels. Head butler of the Phantomhive manor and Earl Phantomhive's loyal servant." I says with a smile.
'Wow he must be very proud of that title' you think tilting your head slightly.
Before you knew it the song was over. Sebastian released you from his gental grip and bowed to you, as you did the same. He walked you off the dance floor and out of the corner of your eye you could see almost all the girls giving you death glares. You giggled at that. All the girls here after one man
'I wonder how that's going to work out for them' you think sarcastically while giggling lightly.
"What's so funny" Sebastian chuckles lightly.
"I think it's amusing how many people are after your heart" you say giggling.
"Oh? hm.." Sebastian says cupping his chin with his thumb and index finger.
"What?" you ask tilting your head.
"I believe someone already stole my heart" he states as he leans down, your noses almost touching.
"W-who is th-"
"(Y/N)!Get over here now!" you were cut off by your step mother.
You give Sebastian an apologetic smile and walk over to your mom.
"This is your chance! The Earl went off to bed and since his butler is here, he cant be protected. Now go" She says quietly as she shoves you off.
You take a deep breath and walk off through the hall ways. You notice an open door which leads to Ciel's study, and who do you find there? Ciel Phantomhive. He actually look cute when he was asleep.
"He's so cute when he's asleep. Right now he looks more like a child than an Earl.." you whisper to yourself.
"Cute indeed" a voice says behind you.
You quickly hide the knife behind your back and smile at none other then Sebastian Michales. He sighs and walks over to Ciel, wrapping a blanket around him.
"I suggest not waking him. He can be in quite the bad mood if you do" he say's slyly.
"I see" you reply.
You turn around to leave but two inhumanly strong arms stopped you. One was wrapped firmly around your waist, while the other was griping your wrist that was holding the knife.
"Now my darling, where do you think your going" he said slyly.
By now, he was griping your wrist so tightly that you had to drop the knife
"It would be such a shame to waist someone like you. You see I have grown quite the liking towards you. But, none the less, I must eliminate all threats that might get in the way of my Masters revenge." He sighed.
"I.. I-" you began but you were interrupted by your step mother barging into the room.
"(Y/N)! There you are. You had me worried" she said with a fake worried tone.
"My apologies Miss. I did not mean to keep (y/n) from you." He said releasing you and bowing slightly.
Your mother nodded and glanced over at Ciel who was still sleeping at his desk. She turned back to you and slightly glared. Sebastian, now knowing who really was behind this, broke the silence.
"Excuse me (y/n), but, there is a guest bedroom down the hall and to the left, first door. Could you please wait for me there?" He said looking slightly down at you while keeping his eyes in your step mother.
You nod and walk in the direction he told you. You entered the room and sighed, sitting on the bed.
~in the other room~
"So you were the one who told poor little (y/n) to kill my master?" He said tilting his head slightly.
"I dont know what your talking about" your mother said turning away from Sebastian.
Before she even had a second thought Sebastian had her in the same hold he had you in, except his second hand was around her neck.
"Now I have to get rid of the real threat. Oh, and by the way, you daughter is lovely. I hope I can win her hand and heart. Do tell me if I have your blessing since you won't be able to tell me later?" He ask smiling
"You can kill her too for all I care! That peice of shit never caused me anything but trouble!" She spat at the butler.
Sebastian smirked and snapped her neck. It was all over. She was gone and you were free. Sebastian sighed and took the body outside where he left it for Pluto to do what he wished with it.
He walked back inside to the guest room which you were in.
"My apologies for leaving you in here. You are going to have to stay here for awhile." He stated bowing
"W-why?" You stutted out.
"Your mother has had an unfortunate accident" he said holding down a smirk.
"O-oh.." You sigh, knowing what he meant.
"I hope you enjoy you time here at the phantomhive manor" he said bowing
You nodded and he left the room.
'I know I will' he thought to himself and smirked
