I wish there was another term for what I experienced growing up, but I guess I have to settle with 'Daddy Issues'. A term that has been sexualised and is now something that is not. A term that, as soon as the words slip past your slips, you get snickered at because people assume it's funny. Well, I guess the only time you won't find it funny, is if you've experienced the real thing. Daddy Issues, that is.
Now, if you're reading this and thinking 'What the f#@! Is daddy issues?' Then I'm afraid this book isn't for you. Or, maybe it is. Either way, you're welcome to stay.
But, don't get too attached, because I may not finish writing this.
Why, you may ask? I'll be dead.
And if for some reason I've managed to finish... whatever this is, then yay to me.
