It was nine in the morning on Saturday. That means I won't have to go to college. I had to pick my uncle Paul up from the recording studio today in the evening. He works for a band called One Direction. Shortly, the band has taken over the world like a storm, but I did not understand why the fangirls were so crazy. As a girl myself, I appreciated their songs, but I didn't run and scream like them. My uncle managed the band so he knew the boys personally. This was my first time meeting them, so I had to put on some decent outfit, except my sweatpants and sweatshirts.

Evening came, I decided to wear a pair of jeans with a pink shirt and tennis shoes. I tied my hair in a ponytail and had a bag of Doritos. Now it was six in the evening. I took my car and left for the music studio. At around 6:45 pm, I reached the studio. I showed my ID and the security guards let me in. They said that uncle was still working for an upcoming tour and that I had to wait. So I sat on the waiting lounge. The studio was huge. And when I say huge, I mean HUGEE! There were atleast thirty guitars of every type you could imagine. Around four or five synthesisers, and a large grand piano in the middle. I did not know how to play any of these instruments, except a piano. I loved playing a piano. So I couldn't resist the urge to rush into the piano. And so I did. I sat on the piano stool, cleared my throat and started playing a tune. Before I could start singing, however, a raspy voice from behind called out, "Um, excuse me... Is it the tune for Let It Be?" I turned back and saw that it was one of the band guys. He had curly hair, green eyes, and wore a red checkered shirt with skinny black jeans. I replied, "Oh yes. It's Let It Be by The Beatles." He smiled and said, "I love that song. It's the first one I heard, probably. My mum used to play it for me when I was a kid. Anyways, I am Harry. Harry Styles."
"Yes I know you. Really like your songs. Congratulations on your debut."
"Oh are you talking about the first song? What Makes You Beautiful that is. Oh- its just the beginning, thanks. By the way, I don't think I recognise you."
"I'm Ava. Um... Paul Higgins, your manager... I'm his niece. I came here to pick him up."
"Nice to meet you Ava. I don't think that Paul will be able to leave now. He is very busy with the new tour arrangements, y'know? You can wait in the meantime."

Harry smiled and walked away. I too turned back to sit in the lounge and wait. It was awkward to play some random piano in a studio. I decided to sit quietly and read an e-book in my phone.

Uncle Paul came outside after an hour. I drove him to his house, and returned to my own little apartment. When I was about to go to bed at night, I pulled out my diary from the shelf, where I was writing a novel. I wanted to publish it. I wanted to be an author. I wanted to make a change in this world through my works. And that was my top priority right at that moment. I knew that the writing industry was difficult to get into, and once you are an author, you can't expect a steady income. Everything is unpredictable, just like myself, and I knew nothing could be foretold, the best could only be hoped for. I went to bed with lots of confusion in my head.
