Prologue

3rd POV

Destruction

That is what all I see around me, around us. Destruction, despair and silence. The final battle has taken everything from everyone. Our work, our home and most importantly, our FAMILY.

Master Makarov has disbanded the guild for reasons unknown to anyone but himself, then disappears before our very eyes. Leaving behind us, the ones he calls brats, the group of misfits that are responsible for his troubles and in-house destruction. Makarov left his only blood relative left, his grandson, my best friend, Laxus Dreyer, the second-generation Lightning Dragon Slayer.

We sit around the destroyed guild hall, our home where we can be us, be and express ourselves. FAIRY TAIL. All is a pie of wood and ash from the explosion. The final battle against Tartaros.

Natsu and Happy, Gray and Juvia are all missing.

Natsu and Happy left a note for Lucy to take care of the guild, that they would be back after training to be stronger than they are now.

Gray left to find some closure after fighting against his father, whom he had thought dead since he was young. And Juvia... Juvia left with Gray to give him some company, to make sure he isn't alone during his troubles.

Lucy Heartfilia is standing in her destroyed apartment reading the roughly written note done by Natsu and Happy with her trusted celestial spirit and leader of the Zodiac, Leo the Lion, otherwise known as Loke.

From the Celestial Spirit World, all spirits contracted to Lucy watch as she crumbles to the ground, shoulders shaking from the suppressed sobs trying to break through. It isn't until Loke crouches down next to her and wraps his muscular arms around her in an embrace that the dam of emotions breaks through the floodgates. Releasing all the pent-up emotions from her battle against Jackal, crying for the loss of one of her oldest friends, Aquarius, whose sacrifice helped turn the tide and win us the battle.

My self-appointed little sister, Erza Scarlet had left shortly after Masters' announcement. Just gave me a hug and wished me luck with whatever decision I was to make about my new life without the guild.

Erza would be travelling with Crime Sorciere, helping the rag-tag team of criminals right their wrongs against other by taking up jobs and protecting those that cannot protect themselves.

The rest of the guild had decided to split up individually or with their teams and become nomads, some seeking shelter at other guilds where friendships had grown over the years. Their titles and ranking staying with them along the way to help accept higher paying jobs when travelling town to town.

As for me, my name is Celestine Crystala Swan, also known as Cece to my close friends and family, older sister to Isabella Marie Swan and oldest daughter to Renee Dwyer and Charlie Swan.

She was eight years old, and Isabella a mere one year old baby when our mother, Renee took us from our father and divorced him. It was also the same year that I was kidnapped while my mother was busy giving all her attention to my little sister.

It was then that I was taken to the Tower of Heaven by servants of the dark wizard, Zeref, and was put to work as a slave. This was also the time I had met Jellal, a few months later, my self-appointed little sister Erza was brought to the tower at six and a half years old.

I took to her more than I ever did my own baby sister when she was born.

Two years later, Erza and I escaped the Tower after a wave of rebellion, unfortunately, leaving Jellal behind as he had been possessed by a dark entity.

Fortunately, Celestine was able to contact her birth parents after leaving the Tower of Heaven, bringing Erza with her.

As the magic within Celestine and Erza grew, they sought out a mage guild and were lucky in their quest when visiting Celestines' father, Charlie in Forks, Washington that they found Fairy Tail.

As time went on, they spent more time at the guild than they did at home with either Renee or Charlie, especially since both Celestine and Erza were able to achieve S-Class status.

It was when Celestine was seventeen and Erza fifteen and a half that they along with eighteen other guild members including Master Makarov went missing for a total of seven years after heading for Fairy Tail island Tenroujima for the annual S-Class exams.

Waking up seven years later after being attack, the Tenrou group came to the realisation that they had not aged in the years they had been gone. Also, that their magic had also not progress as it should have over the years as they were frozen in time.

Seven years later, Celestine comes home to her father six months before her baby sister is to arrive and live with their father until after she graduates high school. The two sisters now being the same age. 

One month before Isabella is to arrive, the dark guild Tartaros takes action against the Light guilds around the globe. Fairy Tail taking it upon themselves to help defend everyone, had set out to fight against these demons. 

The battle is now over.

Now, here is where her story begins.

Will Celestine find happiness? Will she continue to be broken? Will a certain doctor be able to put her back together after the horrors she has faced? Will he find some semblance of peace when he finds his mate? Will they accept each other even with all their secrets?
