It turns out that it's the time to get to another life, as he shuts his eyes and surprisingly falls asleep after a minute passes by.

He gets to live life with a new partner every time that a New Year strikes. Sounds great and all, but of course great things have disadvantages as well.

The disadvantage is that there is a possibility that you two wouldn't know each other. So you need to get to know that person.

There were not much cases that the person you would meet or be with would be going through the same thing you are, and so they would be clueless about it as they go and live their own lives.

And luckily too, you could choose how you want or prefer that person to be as in your life. A friend, a best friend, especially a lover. Maybe even someone who you just met, throughout this messy system where you get a new partner every darn new year.

But what if there's a bit of a difference from the ones listed abo-

The sun had shone it's light through the window, as he opened his eyes.

A new year, a new day, and a new person.

He took a quick glance to his side to see a brunet who was waking up same as him, before looking away as he blinked a few times and got up.

The two didn't wanna look yet, hoping for something. Something? They hoped for a change this year, but now how was this year gonna go? How will their life be with this newly profound life?

With a deep breath, they looked at each other. The two turned to stone with a disappointed face, they sighed. "It's you again.." They said in unison.

"I thought it was a new person every new year, Why is it that ever since the beginning it was only you? Again and again" Levi said, as the guy beside him, Eren, Replies. "Don't ask me as if I'm supposed to know, plus I'm asking the same question" Levi blinked a few times and then looks at him.

"You..You're experiencing the same thing I am? Meaning, the actual you is not with another person?" Levi said, raising an eyebrow.

How? Is he for real or is he joking?

"Yes, I am. I suppose you are too, this is just..so odd. As if it were.." "An error to the system..?" Levi continued Eren's sentence. He nodded, "Yeah.." He said.

The two looked at the ground, feeling awkward even if they had spent the past years together.

C'mon, they lived with each other for years and this is how they act like now? It was always so awkward between the two, both of them sighed.

"How do I start this? Do I say Hi or do I ask how he's been doing?" One of them thought as they hesitated.

" Do I ask him what he wants to eat or do we do a small..chatter?" The other thought, wondering which decision he thought was better.

They're supposed to have known each other after being and living together for so long, but they don't even know what each other's favorite colors were. What were the things they liked doing and what they least liked doing, What their favorite days were. None.

Sure, they thought about it, but they never asked or tried to get to know each other. They usually just tried their best to mind their own business because they thought they wouldn't see each other again, so what would be the point anyway?
