Chapter 5

I wake up to see Diana still in my arms. So it wasn't a dream I think relived. I get up, grab some clean clothes and head to the cabin bathroom. Coming out I see Diana sitting on my bunk looking frantic. Of course she would, in her nightmare last night you died remember.

I mentaly face palm myself and go comfort her. Once she sees me, she immediately calms down." Nico thank you for letting me spend the night with you, but I had better get back to my cabin and get dressed."" Don't bother leaving because a.) Nico will start moping,b.) you can borrow my clothes and c.) you'll get caught without a doubt and the hunters will never leave you alone again." Hazle says. I had thought she was sleeping, what woke her up from that death sleep?" I thought you were sleeping?"" I was but I get up early and then go back to sleep, normally. But I saw an extra person in here and well couldn't help but get photos of you 2 sleeping. So that's what I did." I was shocked, Hazle got pitctures of me and Diana sleeping on my bunk, together.

" Why did you do that?! And for the love of Ares stinky under pants don't show or tell anyone, especially the Apollo cabin who are more like her cousins then anyone, Leo since hes her adopted brother, and the hunters cause they'll sooner shoot me and already have a special hell set up for me in the underworld, just for dating their' sister'. So just swear on the river Styx not to tell or show anyone. Please!" I asked rather quickly. She has a look in her eye of slight amusent at me peracticly begging her. But I don't care as long as no one but me, Diana, and now Hazel know." Alright I swear on the river Styx not to show or tell anyone that Diana spent the night in our cabin. I just want to know why?!" We both looked at Diana. She looks back at us sighs and says" alright I'll tell you. But I don't want any interruptions while I recite my exruiaringly painful nightmare."

She begins by telling us how it started off with everyone on the quest. Things are going great but then disaster strikes, the ship we're flying o is attacked and she is knocked unconscious, taken prisoner. She wakes up many hours later in a cell. She is given food 3x's a day and water whenever she's thirsty. Then a few days pass and she sees her father and calls out to him. He turns around and explains how he was never her father but a good friend of his and after he died he took over as her father.( Diana saw her father rarely, but she did) He then explained how he worked for kronos and would be his host because he is a demigod and well, is preparing for kronos to take over. Then he gives her an offer. Marry him and allow the spirit of kronos wife Rhea to enter her body not take control just be part of her and become even more powerful. She refuses saying how she will never love him and how I will rescue her. He laughs and tells her if that's what you believe. About an hour passes of her being alone in her cell and the door opens with something flying through the door. She crawls over and screams when she sees who it is.

Its me. Covered in blood, my own as far as she could tell. Hugging my body she cries and kisses me on my cheek, forehead, neck, then my lips. She thinks she hears a groan but dismisses it as her mind trying to make her happy and full of false hope. The man that posed as her father comes in and tells her that all the her friends are dead and that a poison that makes gods fade was found in her mothers body because of his men. She sobs,and asks him not to take my body away from her. He lets her keep me and leaves. She sobs for hours. Then starts singing what she's not sure but she does and it is a song befitting of her life currently. After a few more days she agrees to marry him, but shots down the offer of Rhea becoming part of her. That's when she woke up and checked if I was alive.

I stare in shock. She had such a horrifing dream and kept it in for a whole night and piece of the morning. Hazle is comforting her and telling her to borrow some of her clothes and get dressed. Once she's in the bathroom I break out of my tranc, look at Hazle and ask" how can someone hold that in all night, and have a dream so horifing in the first place!?"" I don't know but we can't tell anyone and your not allowed to leave her side." I nod. There was no way I was leaving her side anyway.

Diana walks out of the bathroom and my train of thought stopped. She was wearing tight black skinny jeans, with heeled boots that hide cestel bronze knives, a form fitting black tank top with a leather jacket. Her hair was in a braid over her shoulder, she had brown, bronze eye shadow on with reddish lipstick." Hey Nico I think you've got a little drool haning from the corner of your mouth for your girlfriend." I blushed and looked away wiping my mouth. She was always beautiful, hot ,sexy, but today it was more than that. It looked like those clothes were made for her. I mean no one could pull off that look no matter how good looking they might be. No one except Diana." Thanks for letting me borrow these your right they are really comfortable, and I think Nico really approves. Well while no other boy sees me. So if there is ever a chance to go shopping help me get some of my own so I don't borrow from you."" Sure thing though I'd be surprised if Nico let you leave with out paying some kind of fee."

She winks at Diana who blushes a lot and looks away. I dont get it. Girls can have whole conversations with each other with just a wink, while us boys just stare at them like their crazy. I look between both of them and finally it clicks. I give Hazle a hard look as if to say 'really that's mature and no that's not happening'. We walk to breakfast together. Once done the girls grabbed Piper and Annabeth to go sneakily down to the city to shop for different things. Diana's new look, Piper and Hazels wedding dresses, brides maids dresses, cakes, and a bunch of other things.

I went to take a walk when I spotted Percy in the arena. I walk over and ask" hey can I spare with you, you can fight a real opponent who can fight back and actually challenge you than hack the crap out of a straw dumby that just stand there doing nothing." He grins and then we're fighting. Percy is really good, but I know the weaknesses in his defense and strike those periodically.

After about 2 hours of sparing, the girls are back. Percy and myself are quickly over taken as they had sprung a sneak attack on us and we had to help each other. They get us on the ground and Diana sits on me to keep me where I am. Seeing that it worked for Diana, Annabeth sits on Percy, effectively keeping him down as well. Everyone cracks up and Piper says" hey you guys are boys we should be no match for you!"

Just then Jason, Frank, Calypso, and Leo walk in."Wow guys beat by girls. Your ruining the honor of boys everywhere."" Fine if your so tough Jason fight us. You,Frank, and Leo against me, Piper,and Hazle while Diana and Annabeth keep Percy and Nico right where they are. So how 'bout it?" Knowing that if they refused they would be attacked anyway they accept. The fight doesn't take long. They each fight someone else's boy/girl friend. Leo vs. Hazle, Piper vs. Frank, and Jason vs. Calypso. And when one girl gets a boy on the ground his girlfriend goes over and sits on him. So the fight takes 20 minutes tops.

After that the girls get off of us. Everyone starts walking down to to the beach for a swim. I get behind Diana and sling her over my shoulder and race for the water where I spin around and hear her delighted laughter. Everyone but Annabeth decides to go swimming. We all run to our respective cabins. Hazle runs into ours, then back out with her bathing suit in hand to Diana's. I go in to my cabin get changed and run to the beach again.
