Alejandro's P.O.V
'I'm so nervous. What if I don't get a gift? What if my family abandons me? What if I get a bad gift? What if I get bullied for my gift? What if.........'
"Alejandro!" I snapped out of my daze and looked up to see my abuelo looking at me. "Are you ready?" He asked. I nodded. "Then, take my hand, child." Abuelo stuck out his hand for me to take. I hesitantly took his hand and he led to the door. I looked at my Mama and Papa, My Papa encouraged me to take hold of the doorknob. I placed my hand on the doorknob and the door glowed. I then felt this urge to climb. I started climbing like a opossum onto the wall. Then I swung on the vines like a monkey. I then dropped in front of the door to see it change form. "We have a new gift!" Abuelo shouted with excitement. I couldn't believe it! I got my gift after all! I can't wait for the future and see what it has in store for me.
