Canada/ Mathew POV-

Please read the message at the end

I helped Alfred put on his coat as we got dressed in Russia's bedroom, I was giving him some tips on how to dress up accordingly for the weather. "You see how there this elastic piece at the bottom of your snow pants, you need to put this on top of your boat so your socks don't get soaked in snow" I explain getting a small chuckle out of him. Al wasn't very experienced in this kind of weather so I wanted to make sure he was well dressed, "I'm fine Mat you don't need too worry." I give him a small smile before we heard a knock on the door "Who is it!?" Al yelled, "it's Canada, may I come in?" The girl answered we gave her the okay as she walked in wearing mostly the same thing as me and my brother.

A pale blue puffy jacket with black snow pants, a tuque, or beanie as al would call it, snow gloves, ski goggles, a cloth masks and a large dark green backpack. "I'm here to see if you guys are ready we've got to get going soon if we want to be there before dark, we even packed extra stuff in case we must sleep over there."

I gave her a nod as we fallowed her back downstairs. When we got there America was ready impatiently taping his foot. I took a minute and examined outside from the window, it reminded me of the Eastern Canadian blizzard of March 1971 it was a fearsome blizzard of more then 47 centimetres of with wind gusts of 110 kilometres per hour.

I heard my name get called behind me as Alfred signalled that it was time to go, all for of us standing at the front door as are companions wished us well "Luddy says-a he will-a have the-a plan ready when you-a all return!" Feli said with hopeful smile on his face, "Traver safe" Kiku said more direct at my brother. We opened the door with the wind violently attacking are faces. This was going to be difficult.

Time skip

The snow was rapid, it felt like a bunch of little knives thrown at are face. This was bad. I don't know how we all are going to fight inside of this snow.

America told me his house would be about a 20 to 25 minute walk but with the weathers behaviours it could be about 30-35 minutes, this didn't seem long before but now it felt horrendous. "Come on guys just a bit more left!" America yelled at the front of are team leading the way, "what does your house even look like? Is it down in the village because if so we should figure out how to not be spotted." Alfred said playing with his goggles as they clutched his glasses strangely, "it looks a lot like the White House but has more house feeling to it then a political one. It's also smaller with 100 rooms instead of 132 rooms" so... we were looking for a smaller version of the White House in a bunch of white snow... this is going to be a challenge.

"Hey, y'a hear that?" Canada said stopping for a moment, we all stopped and listened for a second not hearing a single sound at all, "no?.." Al replied a bit confused by what the woman was saying.

"Exactly there's no wind we can stop and take a break!" She said bringing are minds too the newly found weather. America seemed hesitant at first saying he was going too keep walking. So in the end it was just me, Alfred and Canada sitting down as we drank from are canteens.

We planned to take a small 5 minute break and talk before going back on the trail. "So... Canada, can you tell us a bit more about the capitals and states and.. that stuff" she looked wiping off water that dripped from the corner of her mouth before answering, "sure what do you want to know?" She asked sitting crossed legged, I asked on why only my provinces and Alfreds states were personified yet none of the regions in other countries. "Personally that is a mystery too us as well but we believe it's has something to do with most of are states and provinces existed before we became full fledged nations and how they choose too come under are care,  the others that joined after were just fallowing the trend I guess?" She said with a shrug.

"If I remember correctly Hiroshima and Nagasaki also had a personnification, they were there at the court trial, yet they were never a capital why did they get personified." Al asked a bit reluctant on the subject, Canada let out a sigh and gave the answer.

"If a region does become a personification it means they are bound for a tragic accident. There death has already been written in the pages of history we merely must wait for there tragic end, it is a horrible fate that is bestowed upon them, knowing you are created just so you can eventually perish, it makes me sick too my stomach and makes me worry for Antarctica's future..." she bowed her head in despair as we process everything she had told us. She bit her tongue and shivered before continuing her tale, "I know of one Region that escaped his fate, Alaska, when Russia brought up that one of his regions were given a personnification we felt a sense of sadness for the boy, he was such a kind boy unknowing of what was too come yet one nation had grown more attached with the child then he had intended, America. When Russia had announced that he was selling Alaska by his bosses order, America did everything in his power too make the boy one of his states." With how more she explained the wind kept getting higher and higher. "Let's... head back on the trail, America's probably 3 minutes away from his house.

We got up and gathered are equipment and continued as we struggled threw the ice and snow.

Hey so I know it's been like 3 or 4 months and I'm so sorry!!! I've been very busy and lacking inspiration for this book but there is another reason. Personally I feel like I shouldn't continue this book mainly be because of the conflicts going on in Russia and Ukraine, I won't get into politics. In this book I wrote them very misleading and there interaction took place before this hole conflict happened. Any ideas on what I should do? Thank you for reading
