Earth Bound

2. Aquarius

Skylor watched her breath go out and turn to ice instantly. As she pulled back her bow string, she had spotted a perfect target, a wild kuta-muta , a revolting bird that resembles a turkey in such ways, she exhaled one more time and let go of the bowstring at the same time.

She could hear the arrow whistle as it went strait past her ear. And she watched as the kuta-muta fell to the ground with an arrow sticking out of its side. Tonight would be a feast night. She went to the house in the small city right next to nowhere. Honestly she couldn't remember any thing from her old city. It was strange.

Skylor always loved stargazing after a successful hunt. And this time she saw the constellation of Aquarius. The girl banished to carry water in a jug full of holes and cracks. She must of done something bad to deserve that punishment Skylor thought. As she went in side
She saw her best friend in the whole world. "Dawn where have you been?"screamed Skylor. "Everywhere literally!" said Dawn as she ran up to Skylor to give her a big hug.

"Skylor is that a kuta-muta?" Mr. Henchhaw asked. "yes it is dad, I shot it see" said Skylor. "Yes I see it why don't we go out side and cook it?" "Sure"

As Mr. Henchhaw and Skylor went out side Skylor looked up and saw that the Aquarius constellation was missing. "Dad where's the constellation of Aquarius?" Asked Skylor. "I don't know honey""okay just checking "

Aquarius was mad. She only had a few hours until the water in her jug ran out which would kill her spirit. She had to find something to latch onto that will keep her jug filled up for eternity. But moving was hard. She had been so used to being a constellation that she had forgotten what it was like to live as a spirit.

She was also worried. What if the water in her jug ran out before she found a human host. No she scolded herself don't think like that. I will not give up I am a horoscope constellation I can do this. But what if the water was already low? She felt parched. Stop she scolded again. I will not give up. And she kept telling her self that.

That's when she felt it an aura so strong that the water jug felt like feather now. She felt like she could stand up straight but she couldn't no matter how strong she felt
nothing could make her stand up straight.

Skylor watched as Dawn acted out a clerk for charades
But since she was on her team she couldn't answer. Her parents were screaming out answers. She had a huge headache so she went inside for an aspirin. As she walked in she felt an aura strong enough that her headache felt like nothing now. She walked into the kitchen and the headache came back and she got some aspirin.

Dawn walked in to see Skylor on her knees and ran to her to help her up. "Skylor are you okay" asked Dawn. "Yeah just my legs hurt" answered Skylor."its like there is something growing on my back "

Meanwhile Aquarius was floating towards the direction of the aura. Aquarius turned left and thought that if she went the other way the aura would go away. She tried to but it was like someone was pulling her towards the aura. And she did not like things like that. She struggled and struggled until she finally gave into submission. She went the way of the aura.

Skylor walked out side and she felt the same strange aura. So she brought Dawn with her and walked into the forest. Once she got a couple of miles into the forest she saw it. A trail of water that looked almost spirity. She made sure to bring her bow and arrows just in case they ran into something bad. Dawn brought a knife.

The aura is getting stronger thought Aquarius. I must be getting closer to the thing that is to be my host. The water stopped dripping is that good? Thought Aquarius
Wait what is that running down my back. Oh great its water. I guess it did not stop dripping according to the water I have about thirty minuets until I die. Great.

In about five minutes they saw a ghostly lady and the aura faded. Skylor reached out to touch it and the ghostly lady turned. Skylor knew who this was. It was Aquarius but in her spiritual form. Aquarius leaned in and entered Skylor with a blinding light.
