Beads of sweat ran down your forehead as you looked up at the wooden shelter on a strongly stood tree.

It was 5 in the evening and the sun will set anytime now.

Camilo smiled at you and took your hand
"You wanna watch the sunset?" His eyes reflected the beautiful sky ahead of you
"Sure! On the tree house?" He nodded and climbed up with you

The blue sky quickly faded when the big ball of light sunk down the mountains
"From now on this is our spot" He took your hand and pressed his lips together

"One more thing," He thought for a moment then fixed his gaze at your beautiful e/c eyes

"Nevermind." He let go of your hands and looked down
"Do you wanna have dinner here tho?" He asked

"Why don't I invite you to our house now?" You smiled
"So they get to know you too!" He looked ecstatic
"Lemme ask Mami" He rushed down and ran inside their house enthusiastically

He came back with a big grin.
"She said yes!" He took your hand and assisted you down.

You held his hands as you ran towards the tree lined street.
Peeks of light from the sinking sun made it's way in between the tall trees that stood beside the pathway.

You knocked on the door and a maid opened it
"Is mom and Dad home yet?" You asked
"Not yet" she politely replied
"And who is this young man?" She asked

Camilo bowed
"I'm Camilo, Y/N's friend"

"You sure about that?" The maid teased before she closed the door behind you

"What would you guys like to drink?" She asked
"Water would be fine" the maid nodded and went to the kitchen

"Mom and Dad will be home in a few minutes" He scanned the room
"Señora, can you please make extra for dinner, I invited Camilo over" you added

"Sure,Hun" she replied as she brought a pitcher of cold water with two cups
You nodded a thanks to the maid and politely waited.

The door opened and there they were
"Hey Mom and Dad meet-" your mom had a look of confusion
"Carlos? You can't just come-"
"Mom no this is Camilo. Have you forgotten?" You cut her sentence off

"The Family trip boy?" She asked as she placed her bag down
"Mom n- yes, him" you ran towards her

"I invited him for dinner" you excitedly waited for her reaction
"So we finally get to know your boyfriend?" She chuckled

"Mom no, he's my friend" you grinned
Camilo followed and introduced himself politely.

"This man's nothing like Carlos" you're dad whispered
You heard his quiet joke to your mom and immediately responded
"You guys know Carlos?" You cocked an eyebrow at your parents

Your parents looked around the room and yelled out
"No! He was uhm your childhood crush! Yes!" She rushed to her room pulling your dad with her

"Weird" you shrugged.
Camilo nodded in agreement.

Minutes later the dinner was prepared.
"Isn't this a Filipino food?" Camilo asked
"Yes amor" your mom passed the utensils to everyone
"Camilo, this is my favorite" you exclaimed as you scooped rice to your plate

"Señora Christina is Filipino and I love it when she makes sinigang"

You offered to walk him home but he refused.
You took his hands and walked him towards you gate.

"See you again soon?" He asked before leaving
"Sure!" You waved your goodbyes and closed the gate.

You slept with a smile on your face
