What is the proper way of reacting when a person learns that they've been reverted back into their 5 year old self?
Joyfully cheering that they can relive their childhood?
Or maybe cursing their sudden misfortune at the sudden change?
Mitsuhira Ririka did neither. She simply stared at her reflection with the most blank expression she had ever shown in her life and accepted her situation without so much of a cry.
After all, what else could be done in her situation? It wasn't as though she expected such a thing to happen, but she had already seen so many more strange and unexpected things that she practically became immune to surprising twists and turns.
Ririka adapted quite easily to her new life and surroundings. It came along with the perks of being an old Dimension Jumper that had experienced literally everything life had to offer yet managed to keep herself sane and as she was before the fate of the Dimension Jumper had been bestowed upon her.
Although, Ririka did seem like she enjoyed starting her new life in a new dimension more as a child. The reason was probably because it was so much easier than having to explain why a fully grown adult with no background or any sort of identification or past existed.
Ririka had what she called bad luck, and what one of her fellow Dimension Jumpers, Shizuka, called, main protagonist buff, when it came to meeting people. She always, always, came in contact with characters relevant to the original plot of the dimension no matter how hard she tried not to interact with others.
Such a thing was the main hindrance in Ririka's path of living her desired peaceful bystander life.
However, this would be the first time Ririka appeared in a dimension as a child. Of course, that didn't stop Ririka from still trying to live a comfortable life fulfilling for a child. After all, children need friends and human interactions, even if Ririka wasn't actually a real child.
