"I told you to pull it this way!" Nam-Joon yells."No, you didn't! You said left, you crazy person!" Jackie responds angrily.
"You are the dumb one! I said right!" Nam-Joon rolls his eyes.
"Ugh! Whatever! Just hurry your sorry excuse for being a smart person, up! It's night and freezing!" Jackie and Nam-Joon start pulling the barrel full of lettuce down the cropland then to the left side of the house. They rush inside with the rest of their family and friends.
"What took you all so long?" Tae-Hyung and Ji-Min say at the same time.
"It was her fault," Nam-Joon points at Jackie. Jackie gasped.
"Lies!" She says causing Ho-Seok to burst out laughing like he always does.
"What did I tell you two about arguing?" Jin folds his arms.
"Right," Jung-Kook says as Yoon-Gi and Jackie's younger sister, Giselle, nod their heads in agreement.
"Both of your families are close and loving, why are you two so stubborn?" Maiya raises one of her eyebrows.
"Well, I am sorry if this 'Genius' only acts like a babo (Idiot in Korean) all day," Jackie says sitting on the floor dramatically. Nam-Joon glares at her and sticks his chin out like he usually does when he is mad.
"Fine whatever," Nam-Joon sits down next to Jackie. Both facing the opposite way of each other"
"Jackie, come help me set the table," Jackie's mom, Rina, calls from the kitchen.
"You too, Joon-ah (the 'ah' in Korean is added after specific names)," Nam-Joon's mom, Kwang-Hee, calls from the kitchen too. They both get up and go help in the kitchen.
"Giselle," Ji-Min says wrapping his arms around her, "Can I get a hug?" She looks over at the person she likes, Yoon-Gi. He still hasn't noticed my feelings for him, she thought.
"Aren't you already hugging me?" She answers Ji-Min.
"Fine!" Ji-Min says and throws his arms around her, wrapping her in his arms. Giselle rolls her eyes and tries to escape his grasp.
"You are so clingy," She says to him as Ho-Seok, Jin, and Jung-Kook begin to play the game, Yut.
"Yeah, like everyone knows you like her," Tae-Hyung says.
"It's not like you can confess to the girl you like," Ji-Min responds causing Tae-Hyung's cheeks to turn red. I could never tell Maiya, 'I like you,' Tae-Hyung says in his head.
"Good is ready," Joon and Jackie call from the kitchen. Everyone gets up from the floor and up from the couches and goes to sit at the living room table. They began eating Gimbap, Kimchi, Japchae, white rice, and many other traditional Korean side dishes.
AFTER DINNER
"Good night!" Everyone waves goodbye and heads to their homes except for Yoon-Gi and Tae-Hyung."I still don't get how you two live in the same house," Yoon-Gi says shaking his head.
"Our families are really close," Joon says laying on the floor.
"Yeah," Jackie adds.
"How long are you going to stay Maiya?" Tae-Hyung asks her nervously.
"Not sure yet but I plan on staying for a while," She smiles causing Tae-Hyung to look away because of how much he is blushing.
"Wait, Tae didn't you tell me you liked Mai- "Jackie throws his hands against her mouth leaving the room silent with such a confession.
