Soft Blue Eyes

7: Little Cub

"The feeling is love. I love you, Y/N." He said with a serious but loving smile.

Your heart began to race as you heard him, your mind going blank. He.. loved you? You knew you felt the same, but you had always been too afraid to say anything to him.

You had worried what other people would think, you dating a robot. But suddenly, all of those worries washed away.

Looking up at Freddy's glistening blue orbs, you gulped. You didn't know how to respond. You knew you wanted to say it, but you didn't know how to.

Finally, you responded. "Freddy I- I love you too." Your cheeks filled with blush, you had finally admitted it.

"I've felt the connection as well. I knew what it was from the start, and I knew I loved you ever since I was little. And then when I found out you guys were aware, I just knew what I felt was true. I'm sorry I didn't say anything sooner, I was just-.." Freddy cut you off.

"You were afraid, I know. I was afraid too, especially since you're a human and well.. I'm an animatronic. It's unheard of. But I just couldn't keep it in any longer. I love you." He looked at you with his cheeks having a rosy tint, his blue eyes glistening in the moonlight.

You could feel your cheeks heating up too as you looked into his gorgeous orbs. You both knew what you wanted, but you were too nervous to make it happen.

Freddy sat a hand on top of yours, and stared even deeper into your eyes, you both got closer and closer to each other, your cheeks heating up even more.

Your eyes closed slowly and so did his, and your lips touched. You could feel how cold his lips were, but they seemed to be getting warmer.

You both sat like this for a few minutes, not wanting to break the kiss. Eventually, you broke away to catch your breath, your cheeks now extremely red, and Freddy looked at you with a warm smile.

You scooted closer until you were leaning against him, and you laid onto his shoulder. He eventually moved you, so you were now laying in his lap, against his chest. You cuddles into his chest happily, and you looked up at the stars.

You both sat there for a while, not saying anything. He would occasionally look down at you, making sure you were okay. Every time he did, his expression would turn into a big smile, just the sight of you made him happy.

He held your hand it his, rubbing his thumb on the palm of your hand. Everything was so calm, and peaceful. You just wished you could do this forever.

Eventually, you had fallen asleep in his lap, and he didn't dare to move since he didn't want to wake you.

Suddenly, your watch started to beep, the ringer being loud and harshly annoying. You woke up with a sudden jolt, the sound startling you a bit.

You quickly turned the ringer off, and you looked up at Freddy, who was looking at you with a confused look. "Sorry Fred, it's 6am, my shift it over.." You sulked.

He smiled warmly, and pulled you into his arms, embracing you tight. "Don't be down Y/N, we'll see each other tonight, alright? And I'll be thinking about you for the whole day, J love you." He cooed.

You nodded with your frown turning into a hopeful smile, and you let go of his embrace, standing up. You took his hand gracefully, and the both of you walked back into the building.

You stopped him once you were in the back, and you looked up at him, your hands in his. "Hey Freddy, erm.. we never really decided anything out there. Did you want to maybe.. try something out? Like a relationship?" You asked nervously, hoping he would agree.
