The sheets were perfectly warm. Not too cold, and not too hot. It was the definition of perfect. I held the pillows close to my face, smiling in my sleep. I didn't dream, not that I remember, but it was amazing. 10/10 if I have to say so myself.
As I tried switching sides, I heard footsteps from behind the bedroom double door. It wasn't Lucifer, and it was certainly wasn't Charlie's. I didn't bother to open my eyes because I was too hypnotized by the soft, magical sheets.
I heard small mumbles from behind the door. I wonder who that could be.
Looks like Satan was on my side because as soon as I thought to myself, the gigantic double door to the bedroom swung open and a woman came rushing in and jumped on top of me, hugging me.
"You naughty girl! After all I did, you decided to leave me alone in that dark old mansion? How cruel!" Lilith fake a sob as she kissed my cheeks. Her chest was squishing my face. A faint blush crept over my cheeks.
"Lilith, let her breath." Lucifer said, leaning on the door.
"Oh, but she's so irresistible!" She said before pinching my cheeks, "I could just eat her up~!" She said the last sentence with a sadistic tone.
"Forgive her for her childish behavior, Y/n. It's just that I told her I've taken you under my wing due to her demands. She's been missing you ever since you left her sight." He said with the same boring smile.
"Really?" I asked in disbelief. "Oh yes really! Do you know how long I waited for you to come back? I was upset when I saw the letter you left me! I wanted to spend some more time with you." She pouted.
"I thought you wouldn't want me anywhere near you anymore." I mumbled, feeling a bit embarrassed that her view was far different from mine.
"Such nonsense!" She pinched my cheeks harder.
"Lilith, dear. Please, let her rest." Lucifer said, "Look how desperately she's clinging on to the sheets."
Lilith glanced over to the sheets in jealousy, "Why don't you hold me like that?" Lilith looked at me with puppy eyes. Not gonna lie, she was hella cute. "But I'm not going to disturb you any more. You need your rest."
"Thank you." Lucifer said.
"But if you want I can accompany you when you sleep~! And maybe we can-"
"Lilith."
"Fine." She kissed my forehead before getting off of me and walking away, blowing me a kiss. .........................................
