Chapter 1: Mateless alphas

Wolves is known to be majestic, strong, powerful and loyal. They worship one holy figure and that is their Moon goddess. Their goddess love them so much that she accumulated and gave them someone as their mate after turning 18.

A mate is someone the wolf kind can call theirs, and theirs only. They are the one who will either protect them or will carry their heir. Wolves comes in different ranks. First the Omegas. They are said to be the lowest rank but the most strongest when they are pregnant. Omegas are known to give birth to strongest children when they are mated to an alpha. Alpha is another subject. They are strong and most men takes the place of an alpha more then it takes by women. They protect their family and is trusted in the means of business. 70% of the population of alphas are taking over their family's companies. And they are sometimes assisted by their betas. Betas are the second in command. They sometimes assist their alphas or living their lives in farms, restaurants or even at schools as teachers. Betas are also strong but they can't go against an alpha. But also alphas can't go agaisnt the next rank. The Truebloods. There are over 15% of Truebloods out of all whole population of wolves. They are the most respected of all ranks. The most strongest. The most captivating creatures and the most successful in business. In science biology, they are the naturally selected by the Moon goddess herself. They have more features and stronger senses than the alphas. They can read minds of their mate after their mating completes and they can also spread their pheromones in a whole humongous building if they want to. But sometimes Trueblood breeds can be owned if an alpha mate with another alpha. Though that is illegal in their own government structure but it is truly not possible because the Goddess herself made sure to never mate an alpha to another alpha. But sometimes destiny is not in her side.

"You shouldn't have done that."

"Done what?"

"You know what you did, Junghyun. Stop acting dumb."

Jeon Junghyun, an alpha sitting on his swivel chair. His dark brown eyes staring at the big transparent glass of his office that is showing the busy night light of Seoul. He sigh as he turn his chair to face his cousin, Jang Sheoun.

"I did nothing hyung."

"No stop! You are the one who's responsible for everything that is happening. She just turned 18, and in fact rejected by her mate. For fuck sake Hyun when are you going to learn your mistakes huh?!"

"I did not do anything hyung! She was heart broken and needed someone there in her side. I volunteer to be there as I was the only friend she has. But what happened that night was not mine. It's hers. She knows that I am a horrible person that I rejected my beta mate and she, to be exact knows that I will never accept any lower rank as my mate and she took advantage of that. She's an alpha herself. And things already happened and it was not my mistake. She had brought it to herself."

The alpha exasperated as he explain his side on what really happened the night her best friend Seomi was rejected and had sex with him. Seomi is an alpha and her beta mate rejected her after the birthday party. Both Seomi and Junghyun were drunk and their wolf took advantage of it and mated each other. She have dreams of her own and one of that is to have a stable life with her mate and have a family with them. But the cruel faith had plan things to her and she ends up being pregnant with her bestfriend's child after being rejected. She was never cool with it but got nothing do to about it. Abortion was never on the list for wolves. Killing a child that is not yet born is a form of disrespect and unfaithfulness towards their goddess. And killing small pups is just like testing the waters. Junghyun has nothing to say about it too since it already happened.  And he was not a fan of killing unborn child aswell. Since he already cruelly rejected his mate, he accepts the child and bonded himself to take care of it and raise it with the rest of the remaining love that is left when he rejected his mate.
