Redeye flew far from the base, she didn't want anything to do with the Autobots anymore. Her mother was dead, who would teach her to breathe fire or learn how to fight.
The whole world just got a whole lot bigger for Redeye and she was scared. She was an orphan now since she didn't know who her father was.
Redeye kept flying well into the night, further and further from the base, further and further away from the Autobots. She was tired though and finally a cliff with a forest below. Redeye recognised this cliff, it was the same one she first joined the Autobots.
'Maybe I shouldn't act like this, not to them,' Redeye thought. She put her head down, then a twig snapped. Redeye didn't take much thought about it until she heard growling. Redeye quickly spun around to see the mech predacon, just over three times bigger than her. She was scared, petrified of this predacon and while she was starring at this mech an attack was made, not from in front, but from behind. The attack was hard and fast enough that as soon as Redeye hit the ground she was unconscious.
"Optimus!" Ratchet called, "Decepticons are closing in on Redeye."
Optimus was in action almost instantly as was Smokescreen. All of team Prime other than Ratchet and the humans went into the Ground Bridge. When they came out all they saw was Redeye held in the predacon's jaw and being carried through another Ground Bridge just before it closed.
