Chapter one
Icarus Leon always started his day the same way since he was just a young boy. He would fold his sheets wash his face and brush his teeth it was something he had to every morning or his day would be thrown off he was a simple man but what he didn't know was that today would change his life forever.
Knocking was heard on one of the bedroom doors "Enid open up I made breakfast and I know your just dying to have some of my famous scrambled eggs" There was a low "coming" from the other side of the door. It had opened and revealed his younger sister Enid and yes they might not have been related by blood but icarus has always seen her as his little sister.
"You know you don't have to wake me up every morning, I can get up perfectly fine on my own" Enid was what you would call a very heavy sleeper if icarus didn't wake her up in the morning she just wouldn't get up "now we both know that's a lie, you would be asleep for at least five more hours then blame me for not waking you up" icarus let's out a low chuckle but stops when Enid gives him a glare as she heads to the bathroom.
Icarus heads down stairs to finish setting up breakfast one thing about icarus is that he can cook it had to be one of his favorite things. Well beside helping others he loves getting to know others and their experience with the world. "Do you have work today" Icarus' thoughts where interrupted when Enid had entered the room "Yeah got a couple of walk-ins and you don't think I forgot about our session today" Enid stops eating and looks at icarus "do I really have to you pretty much know everything that happened that day"
The day in question was when Enid lost her parents it also happened right in-front of her to frozen in fear to do anything to stop it. "Enid we both made a promise at least once a week we would talk about it about both of our struggles remember we pinky promised can't break that" Enid let's put a small glare "stupid pinky promises" icarus laughs "Alright finish your breakfast and head to class I'll see you at our session" icarus kisses Enids head and the leaves the house.
"So how are you feeling today Jessie" you could see that this past week hell past few years was hard on the older woman. "Better than the last week icarus I'm getting more sleep at least and making sure my boys stay out of trouble" her sons Ron and sam Anderson Ron being the older one you could tell the young boy had some issues but icarus had and will never judge someone for there issues. Sam was a good kid still a little afraid of the world but I mean who wouldn't be.
"That's good Jessie I heard Ron is doing great in class well i pretty much hear stuff from Enid all the time about school kid really hates it" jessie chuckles at the statement "well im proud of him he's a good boy and I want nothing but the best for them" icarus had always admired mothers they had always wanted what's best for their kids especially his mother she was the one that pushed him to help other her saying was "always help others but when you're in a time of need others will help you" and he has lived by that statement his whole life.
