"Ate wala na akong kalaro. Umaalis na mga tao dito sa'tin. Kelan ka ba kasi uuwi ate para may kalaro na ako? Miss na miss na kita ate. Labyoooo"
"Huwag kang mag-aalala dito saamin anak. Nagsisi-alisan lang yung mga tao dahil mas gusto na nilang mamuhay sa siyudad. Ingat ka palagi anak ha?"

What's worse than hearing how your family suffered in a phonecall? The sound of whiplash. Countless gunshots. My parent's muffled cries. My brother's earsplitting shouts from torture. And the stentorian laughs from different voices...
I have wished so many times that I was with them when that happened. Then maybe I could do something to save them. If things gets worse, I'll gladly choose to die with them.
I hated what happened. I hated the situation. I hated the circumstances.
And I hated- no. I loathed them, the demons who killed my family.
Then I realized...
Maybe the reason why I was destined to be separated with my family and live was to hunt them.
