Simple monkey follow
What other monkey do
The idea we borrow
Not looking for a clue
Power towers rise from the fire
Not chosen for stability
It's a matter of personality
To attract and break the pact
No place is free of towers
Powers that use the fools
Powers that corrupt the truth
Meeks meekly follow the rule
Simple monkeys choose
The dumber one to rule
A disguised mule
Leading us to our doom
Power towers rise from the fire
Picking a red or green flag
Turning the turntable around
It's either fear or theft concealed
Powers that use the fools
Powers that corrupt the truth
Towers built upon bones
Of someone you think you knew
Waves on a sea of time
Come and go
With nothing new to show
Think before you talk
Monkeys and donkeys
You might think they're joking
Monkeys and donkeys
Want a tower full of hay
Without having to pay
Go live in your tower
I wont look up
When it's on fire
