The fall of 1994 brings happiness and joy all around korea yet Youngro has forgotten the meaning of happiness. She always visits the Open House where she met suho for the first time hoping to see him again. The recording cassette, same green muffler and the same tears all over again. She hasn't moved on and it's very evident. How could she move on when she has nobody in her life. Her friends are married and after the traumatic incident (hostage situation) they all left South Korea and settled in different countries.

Youngro has enough money for herself after selling her mansion which she got from her inheritance property. Her stepmom ran away, grandma is dead and her dad is in prison. Youngro bought herself a small home in Seoul where property is expensive.

For past 7 years all youngro did was live in trauma, hoping to meet suho, visiting the places where they had memories.

Recently a radio announced advertisement for noodles and many other things. People had been talking about handphones they also said people from thousands of miles can talk to each other through it. Youngro was quite surprised by it and a little bit interested in what a handphone was.

Youngro alongside several people went to the mall where the handphone was available for sale. There were certain requirements for buying a handphone like some legal papers and a huge sum of money required which Youngro didn't have as the handphone was only her fleeting interest not something she needed.

After contemplating about her life, Youngro decided to get some jobs, as she graduated in English literature she was easily accepted as assistant professor to the main professor in Sparkles University.

Her supervisior, the main professor was Kim Joon, a very kind person in his early fifties. Youngro got along with students as well as her fellow teachers and made friends. She soon realized the voidness in her heart can never getaway but only be minimized if she keeps herself busy. Cha Eunwoo, 30 years old very Charismatic music teacher was also interested in buying a handphone.

Youngro and Eunwoo knew each other and were fellow coworkers. When Youngro went to the shop to buy a handphone she saw Eunwoo who was listening to the sellers instruction in how to operate and use handphone in detail.

Youngro quickly purchased hers and Eunwoo saw her and went to greet her when the sales lady saw that they knew each other she told youngro to learn on how to use the handphone from eunwoo as the store was filled with many customers.
